| "Service staff was excellent. From check in to check out to man at the door (I think his name was Rahim).
The breakfast was simple but very, very good. One of the better ones I've had.
Wish there's a supermarket or 7-11 within walking distance." |

| "It was our first stay at the Mutiara as a family and most certainly not our last. The initial concern was that the corridor leading to the room was a little dark at 1420hrs which maybe due to conservation of electricity but was alright in the evening. The room we were provided was spacious and clean. And the extra bed and pillows we requested came promptly. The only tiny thing is that they did not have a bidet or at least a hose next to the toilet.
The swimming pool area was okay, a little worn but still clean and good and just big enough to do 25 metre laps. The gym was not too shabby too, at least all the equipment were in working order and clean.
The buffet breakfast was good and it would have been perfect had they not allowed two guests to smoke in crowded section of the restaurant.
This hotel is great for the family if you are on a budget. And in my opinion is better than the Pan Pacific as the latter is now a bit rundown.

| "Our stay was terrific. Great service and a good location.
Music in the lounge is too loud though. Difficult to have a conversation.
The hand basins in the bathrooms are also very difficult to use - too far to the taps.
The staff are very attentive and friendly.
We will definately stay again on our next trip.
