The main attraction of this resort is the Olympic size pool, recreational pools and other sports facilities (golf course, tennis & squash courts). Good value for the money, especially if you just want to unwind for a day. The resort is a 30 min drive from downtown JB and in remote location - you can't walk to shops or restaurants. The room is a good size but is showing its age. Bathroom was clean and spacious. The food at the buffet meal was disapppointing. Although there was a reasonable variety, the seasoning and freshness of the food missed the mark, and the numerous flies detracted from the appeal.

| "We were given adjoining rooms and they smelled musky, perhaps they have not been occupied for a long time? Overall the stay was enjoyable, the room size was good, bathroom is spacious. The breakfast could be more interesting though.
Actually the most important thing is, we gad great experience with some very polite and honest staff from the resort. We left a SLR camera worth SGD2k at the recreation centre and didnt realised it until a day after, we made a U turn back to the centre and was relief and happy to retrieve the camera from the centre's staff. We almost thought it was gone. Thank you!" |

| "room lighting should be improved.
restaurants offering buffets : prices were not quite reasonable.
We had to hurry to the airport for the 7am flight but as we requested for early breakfast (included in our room rate), receptionist replied the hotel did not provide it. I think the hotel should make some improvement on that." |

| "We liked the hotel because of its location, close to Johor Bahru airport, its facilities and service. It has a 54-hole golf course, which is a major plus, and it met all of our requirements for a short stay. It could benefit from a makeover however, requiring re-decoration and improvements to the paintwork." |

| "Great hotel unless something goes wrong. Staff were very slow to react and get the problem fixed quickly so we could go to bed.
Our stay was going well until after dinner. I bathed our 1yr old and when I unplugged the bath, the water came out through two other drains in the bathroom. One was in the shower but other drain was in the toilet. As a result, bits of sewerage came up drain as well as a terrible stench. We allowed 10 minutes to see if it went away as we didn't want to move rooms if we could help it. Had to call Reception as the smell became unbearable. They sent maintenance who clearly had no idea what the problem was and set about mopping up the floor. Once we demonstrated what happened, they went away and left us sitting there. We rang Reception who were extremely reluctant to give us another room. When we did eventually get a new room, it was missing items including a kettle, the minibar, toiletries, washers, etc. It felt like we were being punished for moving rooms! By this time it was so late and our baby (and us) needed sleep so we decided not to bother about asking for anything to be fixed up. On the positive side, we ate at the restaurant that night and the service and food was very good." |
