Our stay at Le Meridien was perfect. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. We got upgraded from deluxe to club on the 22nd floor. The room was huge and the view was incredible. Location was very central with shops and markets surrounding us. The view out to the bay and islands with the sunset was very romantic. Could not fault this place.

| "We only stayed for 1 day and 2 nights, but loved the hotel, we saw 2 beautiful sunsets from the pool whilst enjoying very reasonably priced cocktails. The food was amazing and we felt good value, living in penang you get use to very cheap but exceptionally good quality food, but here we were not disappointed. We had an extra bed in one of our rooms, and it was still spacious. just a note, if you want somewhere nice to go outside of the hotel, turn left, cross the raod and head for the coast... much better then what we found turing right!!!!! enjoy" |

| "Overall pretty good value for money, the pool looks over the ocean and the service is friendly. Eat elsewhere, the food was designed to cater for western markets and so wasn't very good. Steer clear of the hashbrowns - the buffet breakfast was awful!" |

| "This was a great hotel and the staff were really kind, friendly, and helpful. We got excellent recommendations when it came to booking tours and sight-seeing.
There were a few minor problems that I was a bitsurprised to see in our bathroom (flush on the toilet wasn't quite attached properly, shower door was a bit off) but because everything else was so great I wasn't too bothered.
We were forced to stay at Le Meridien when we were unable to find rooms in smaller, less expensive hotels but after 15 minutes we were all really happy that we had started looking for a hotel too late. I feel we got more than what we paid for.
I would definitely stay here again." |

| "Very nice hotel centrally located and a great deal from Asiarooms. We had a royal club suite for 3 nites but front counter check in at 11pm was so disappointing. The club level concierge Mark made up for it over the 3 days and was just excellent! He went out of his way genuinely to assist and make our stay perfect. Have to agree that the walls to the rooms are paper thin and guests next door can be heard at all hours. Great spa and sauna." |
