"Had not stayed in this hotel before so wasnt quite sure what to expect. Anyway, turned out to be quite ok, room with a view of the KL Tower and although there wasnt a non smoker available the room smelled ok. Reception reasonably friendly/helpfull. Small basement car park. Limited breakfast buffet included in price. No problems with noise or disturbances. Plenty of restaurants, shops, banks in vicinity and not far from monorail so location ok. Beware taxis all over KL. Most are unlikely to use meters (or may possibly be rigged), and wont always go where you want to go. Therefore location of your hotel is important."

"Room cleanliness and layout overall is quite good. Breakfast menu is not vary, makes people boring to have breakfast. One of the front office staff is impolite and not friendly. Other than that, all other is good and it's a pleasant stay at Alpha Genesis."

"The bathroom: very basic tolietries are provided. showertap should consider changing. toilet tiles are abit moldy. Room: room is well lited.housekeeper should vaccum e floor and clean the water boilers in the room. room is not very spectaular but acceptable. The built in wardrobe needs touching up on the walls,cleaning and also light. Staff: staff are generally ok but room guest should pay all extra services on the spot and ask for invoice as personally i received all kind of funny bills which i did not use when i check out. Food & cafe's staff:For food it is not too bad if you aint a picky eater. cafe's Staff should make arrangement with the reception staff about the number of guests having breakfast rather than approaching the guest for verification. if you wish to ask ask nicely. location is good. good for shoppers who wants a hotel near shopping areas. i would probably go back to alpha genesis if i visit kl again, if the above mention had been taken into action it will be a must to go back."

"The hotel is good for budget travelers. Room is clean, but lobby of the hotel is small and lack of chairs for our big group. Breakfast is not good with very simple food. Anyway, it is value for money."
