"We stayed here two nights and in general enjoyed the experience especially our room directly infront of the Petronas towers. These were incredible at night and pretty impressive to look at during the day. We did find the lobby impersonal and some things weren't explained to us. Upgrading to the club facilities was a definite plus and made the hotel a lot more welcoming. Just having a comfortable place to sit was a bonus and all the tasty things to eat and free cocktails made it a truly enjoyable experience. I used the spa facilities and had an excellent massage. I also used the pool before breakfast and had it to myself. It was a bit chilly and being nearly enclosed made it more a place for exercise rather than lounging.
We ate in the Gobi Chit Chat restaurant which has a good buffet. We had to ask about that as we were only given the a la carte menu.
The hotel is a short walk to KLCC with its range of shops. You can take the hotel shuttle but it's also nice to walk through the park.
We will definitely come back here but maybe at the end of a holiday rather than the beginning"

"On arrival very quick and efficient check in. Room was modern and luxurious with every possible detail thought of. Lovely bathroom with big shower and bath. Toilet had built in bidet. Good view of park below. Bed very large and comfortable with duvet and 2 pillows, lots of storage space in room. TV very good with lots of channels. Breakfast vast, with many choices from Asian, Europe and Japan includes noodle bar and sushi rolls, juice freshly squeezed, coffee good, also included hot chocolate for our daughters. Housekeeping were quiet and efficient. Hotel provides a golf buggy shuttle to KLCC shopping centre. Tried Chillies restaurant at KLCC highly recommended for families who like a wide choice. Visited Aquaria access located near Traders in underground walkway to KLCC, also housed a food hall and Starbucks Coffee. Took Traders blue taxi service to Bukit Bintang Shopping area only 8 ringit. View Skybridge at Petronas, tickets are available free from 8.30am if you are prepared to wait. (closed one day so check which day beforehand so you won't be disappointed). The staff are very efficent, polite and professional. Liked the look of the pool, but was very cold so I didn't go in. The pool would be fantastic if it could be warmer but it may make the bar area steamy and uncomfortable. The Traders hotel is the best hotel we have stayed at and would highly recommend to all travellers. Noted large bathrooms and layout of rooms would be wheelchair friendly. "

"The hotel room met all our expectations especially with the view of Petronas Tower which was breath taking.
The hotel is in an excellent location close to Petronas Tower - even has a shuttle bus to it if the 5 minute walk is too long!
The hotel itself is excellent, the buffet breakfast was outstanding it included fruit, cereals everything you would expect for continental buffet then more including malaysian food and sushi all freshly made by chefs whilst you watched.
The skypool was wonderful again with excellent views and a sauna/steam room available. The pool closes at 7pm to become a bar which at the weekend was very popular with locals.
We had a late departure and the hotel staff let us book out an hour later at 1pm and leave our bags. We were able to come back and use the pool and changing facilites in the gym. They also booked a taxi for us to the airport at a reasonable price.
We were also able to use the internet free in the business facility which meant we could book onto our flight prior to departure.
All in all this hotel is definitely 5 star and we would return.

"Enjoyed our stay, room was very good, staff were very helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Good facilities, although at the time of our stay, they were undertaking some restoration work and the swimming pool and sky bar was out of commission.
Well situated near centre of KL, with transport links within a few minutes walk."

 Eco Adventure
Would I stay at this location again: Probably not
Comments: We stayed in the Traders hotel at the beginning of October. The Sky Bar and pool were closed for the duration of our stay which were not informed about either at the time of booking or before our arrival to the hotel. While the hotel does have a very good location in Kuala Lumpur we were a little surprised at how highly this hotel is rated, although it is very clean, we felt all the hype before staying here left us feeling a little disappointed.
