4/5  Posted by MR. D, Jerry, Canada in July 2008
"The room was very pleasantly decorated and very clean. What made the Aryani special for us was the service the staff offered. The daily special food snacks and the fresh flowers made us feel like royalty. Azhar and Intan were two especially friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for serving us so efficiently. The weakness at the Aryani is that the grounds are not well tended and the exterior of the buildings and grounds are not being well maintained. For those areas of lack, we feel that the room price is far too high. Bring the exterior and grounds back up to standard and you'll find many guests willing to pay the 5-star prices being charged. As it is now, however, the property is more like that of a 2-star hotel. If you are looking for a super-quiet get away spot where there are no other distractions, the Aryani is that sort of place."

"Overall facility and room location is good with good ambience, friendly staff and good view of ocean, serene surrounding. Only major negative point is that the staff knowledge about local tourist related info is very low and that hinders in a good experience. Info like taxi rents, typical places to visit, getting there, contacts with local to have smooth travels."

"me and my fiancee had a pleasent stay. unfotunately, bar was close on the 31st and the 1st of jan. for my fiancee, i guess it was her first time she had really miss alcohol on her birthday."

"Very pleasant, peaceful and romantic Only one regret : no information available to have a look around like a short journey to see some villages or so. Thank you so much anyway, we will recommend Aryani!"

"A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Very helpful and kind staff. This is a wonderful location to properly relax and take stock. We wished we'd had more time to enjoy this charming location - just the 2 nights was simply not enough. If we ever get the chance we will be back."

"A nice resort for those who want to be alone, very clean beach. But the villas need a renovation (no a/c inside bathroom, bad isolation against humidity) and the breakfast is very poor (pro: it's being served; con: poor variety and slight quantity)."

"The Aryani lived up to all expectations, superb setting, extremely peaceful, large comfortably rooms with discreet service. Arranged private boat/snorkelling trip was excellent and extremely good value at RM120 per person. Would recommend avoiding Malaysian school holidays to ensure peace prevails. Rating would have been 10 but for arrival of large noisy family group."
