| "We booked the so called 'sea view' room but was initially given a 'pool view' room. After informing the front office, was given another room at level 2 which had a slightly better view. I should say the over all sea view was only 20%. This was also mentioned in a review previously. From what i observed, only rooms at level 3 and 4 are able to give you the sea view you paid for. Breakfast wise was quite standard with spread of american and asia delight. In terms of location, its true that you need to drive on your own to visit the places of interest nearby as the journey to its town takes at least 45mins if one were to walk. There's a shopping mall in town called "East Coast Mall", its much better than the Mega mall, which is quite run down." |

| "The deluxe seaview is very nice indeed as I read from the reviews here that the hotel just refurbished them. Fresh fruits and 2 mineral water are provided inside our rooms. Besides, Asiarooms offer the best rate as compared to other websites. There was no surchange even during the holiday weekend season. The food at the coffee house both buffet dinner and breakfast is fantastic. Was disappointed with the beach through as the water is not really that clear blue like what I expected. My wife is happy with the stay and would absolutely return to this hotel again :) cheers..... Victor Cheong" |

| "It is a nice place to stay for a short get-away. The swimming pools are nice though the water in the jacuzzi is a little dirty, probably by people who didn't clean well after going to the beach. " |

| "A fine hotel with friendly service, excellent room, good price, and a couple of great pools. My only concern was the food...except for the buffet breakfast, we never had what I would consider a good meal during our entire stay. There was always something wrong with each entree, and that includes a dish of noodles. How do you get noodles wrong???
All in all, I would definitely go back to the hotel again...and eat somewhere else.
By the way, the family holiday package was an excellent bargain. It made us wish we had kids again!

beautiful swimmingpool.
very beautiful beach with kite surf instructor around the corner. (a course takes three days)
very good breakfast and also good dining in a beautiful restaurant.
the location is 8 km north of Kuantan. You need a car preferable with navigation because we got lost several times in the complex roads of Kuantan." |

| "Very good hotel, very nice setting. Very clean, really a "star"-hotel. Though, unfortunately some small "things" degrade the great value the hotel has. Activities outside the hotel are not sufficiently promoted. As for most of these activities (visting fireflies, turtles, ...), more than 2 participants are needed, this means they hardly happen. Drinks are also much too expensive compared to other costs in the hotel and compared to Malaysian standards. Also, when organising activities on the private beach with balloons, no one of the staff cleaned up the rests of balloons, leaving a polluted beach behind. All these things devaluate the great potential of this hotel, as it really has the potential to be one of the best." |

| "I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon (after 2pm) and I have to wait for 30mins for a room to be ready. This is not acceptable. Also, the floor of the room and bedsheets has some sand on them. My wife is very upset on the standard of cleanliness in the room.
During the breakfast, the waiter are nowhere to be seen and our plates are not removed from our table. Very soon the plates start to pile up and it's unsightly.

| "the resort overall is good, but location isn't ideal eapecially for don't have own transport as it's quite far from Kuantan town and Cherating beach. also the resort beach, sand and sea is normal, might not come back again." |
