"Excellent service. Like some other comments, the pillows are smelly. Perfect location. My expectation on breakfast is too high because I read too many comments about the good breakfast. Maybe, I have tried other better one like the Pangkor Laut Resort, but nevertheless, it is still a good breakfast compare too many other hotels similar class with Hilton. Definately will stay in this hotel again if I visit Kuching in future."

"Just great. Wish we stayed here during the weekend and not in that god-awful Damai Puri resort & (...) Spa. Great hotel, great price during low season. Fantastic staff."

"Unfortunatelly very dissapointed by Hilton Kuching, not at all the worldwide Hilton standard, especially in the terms of cleanliness. Bed and pillow sheets were clean, but pillows themselves were very old thus smelly. Room very outdated, generally the whole hotel needs the renovation. The cleanliness was also a problem at the gym - very dirty sauna and shower area, both together with towels smelled like urine. The most positive was the service."

"Hilton is the best hotel in Kuching. Very good service and nice big clean rooms with great views over the river. Very good value for money. "

"Enjoyed our stay at Kuching. Hotel room has a marvellous view of the river and mountain. Sunset was pretty nice too. Overall, good hotel at a good location. But the hotel needs some minor refurbishment as the furniture and carpet looks pretty old."

"The rooms size are just nice. Room service for foods was just fantastic - thumb-up! Please leave notes especially in bathrooms regarding taking care of environment - eg. reuse of towels etc. Like the restaurant for breakfast too - good location and cosy too. Thanks a lot to all staffs of Hilton. My family loves this hotel and will continue to do so."

"This is a great motel, the staff are to be truely commended. Great service and information about the local area and people. Expensive without an Asia Room deal, but if you can get it, go for it! Beautiful view over the river. Breakfast is sensational with a huge range to choose from. Free internet use."

"Overall the staff were exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was fantastic except that throughout our 3- day stay, we were served the same menu. Room was a little dated though. Not a bad choice overall and I would reccommend this hotel for those who come to Kuching. "

"May I express my appreciation for our enjoyable stay at the hotel although there was a hiccup after we got into the room at a very late hours. The breakfast at the Waterfront cafe was exceptionally good. We could not ask for more. The staff at the cafe are courteous, friendly and efficient. Another additional point about the cafe is the river view which brought memories of other hotels we have stayed with cafes overlooking famous rivers/lakes/seas. However there is some need for improvement when it come to answering quieries. When we made inquiries either by phone or over the counter most of the time they cant wait to get it over with as they are very economical with answers. One really has to extricate bits of information from them instead of being provided with free flowing information on things we want to know. The best example is when my wife wanted to get access to the internet. She was simply told it would cost her RM 26 an hour. My wife took a long winded way to learn later on that it cost RM56 per day i.e. per 24 hours. Why cant she just simply explain that it would be cheaper if we used it for 24 hours. The hotel does provide excellent services but to be correctly informed what we need to know appeared to be quite elusive. This did not affect our stay but the hotel would benefit more if people who are manning guests' quiries do have reasonable communication skills. "

"Great hotel, totally amazing breakfast with everthing you could imagine on offer. We paid extra for a river view, well worth it in my opinion. The pool was very nice and clean, would definitely stay there again."
