| "My family stayed at Bayview Hotel on 08 - 10 Aug 08.
The place is very near to the Kuah Town and easily accessible to the Eagle Parade (Dataran Helang) and Langkawi Fair Shopping Mall. It's very convinient to find food around the Hotel. The hotel staff are very helpful.
When we were checking with one of the staff on how to go to the Langkawi Fair Shopping Mall, he recommended another shopping mall (can't remember the name). However, since that shopping mall doesn't have McDonald's (where our 2 sons would love to eat), we decided to proceed to Langkawi Fair Shopping Mall. Though we didn't follow the staff's suggestion, he still help us to call for a taxi (though it's just a 5 mins drive, still, for us to walk with 2 small kids, it's a challenge).
Then on another day, just after we've had our breakfast, when we checked with the Business Centre on whether they have any island tour for the day, they were willing to let us join a couple who're already ready to go for their tour. The hotel staff helped us to inform the transport to wait for us while we go and change our clothes.
All in all, we really enjoy our stay in Bayview Hotel. May go there again as we didn't have the time to explore the swimming pool as well as the spa facilities there." |

| "A pretty decent hotel with spacious and generally clean room and toilet. However, pillows look rather worn out and way too flattened to provide adequate support. I've also discovered (blood) stains on the bedcover but that was removed the next day of our stay. Nonetheless, we have a good view of the sea from the 11th floor and that was certainly a good plus point. Morning breakfast was also above expectation since the earlier comments I've read were not too positive, given pretty good variety with toaster provided for their homemade bread.
It was a worthwhile stay afterall...

| "Overall, the hotel was excellent value for money although the service and hotel breakfast could be better.
Centrally located in Kuah town (but far from beaches), large deluxe room with nice sea/pool view (no balcony though) and big bathroom with shower/tub, free parking and English-speaking staff.
Some niggles were the hardened toothpaste, wall stain, and the cold if professional service. Otherwise, still good value for money overall and no regrets. " |

| " in general the hotel location is close to many chopes and malls has made it easy for me to get what I want. The only bad experience is a delay on getting my rooms in which I have to wait for almost one and half our. The room carpet looks a bit old. However the rooms are big and tiolets are very clean with excellent view." |

| "The experience of staying at bayview was over all good.its location in 'Kuah" main part of Langkavi is the advantage and the sea view rooms are very good.the only bad part is that while askign for services like empty plates/glasses/ice,they use to tell us"sir,it will be charged".. this was very disappointing.No hotels in Malaysia has every given such statement or charged for such service.My point is that, it should never happen like this.Ofcourse after arguing with them they didnt charge.If this is improved then it will have + point.But Over all it was nice experience.I would request them to add few more items in breakfast for veg.people.But over all nice hotel to experience." |

| "Bayview was a great experiance. We found the hotel to be clean, the room sizes to be good and breakfast to be generous. The room was large, as was the bathroom with seperate shower. The decor was pleasant, although could do with some modernisation. The breakfast was varied with both western and malay cuisine. The only down-side was the location, it was close to the jetty, wich meant it was close to the shopping area, however there is not muuch of a beach close by, we ended up travelling to cenang most days, as the beach was better and it had more to offer by way of activity and resteraunts. This was easily remedied by hiring a car, parking is easy enough and petrol is cheap, but you must be willing to drive quite a bit. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the experiance and found bayview to be great value for money." |
