| "we arrived at the hotel at about 3.30 and the room was not ready yet due to some plumbing problem in bathup. we were served afternoon tea while waiting for the room to be ready, it was a nice coffee and cake. the hotel atmosphere was homey, we got to know almost everyone who stayed there since the number of the room was only 35. most importantly, the air was fresh since the traffic nearby was minimal and the white sandy beach was also clean. if you opt to eat out, there are several restaurants nearby, Orkid Ria is highly recommended for chinese food. as we're indonesian, we found the natural tourist attractions in Langkawi similar to those in Bali except for the unique Balinese culture. for honeymooners and crowded city escaper, look no further than Casa Del Mar quiteness & hospitality. Bravo Jason, the GM and hotel staff !. " |

| "A small friendly hotel with a high level of personalised service.
It has a beach front location that is not too busy and as the hotel is small you feel like it is a private club with everything close. It is only a few steps from room to beach to bar to restuarant. The food is of a very high standard and dinner on the beach is a lovely way to end the day. If you want a quiet relaxing break this is the place. " |

| "Beautiful setting, just the right size - not too many rooms...means less crowded, absolutely a perfect setting! They keep the beach area clean and overall the service was fantastic.
Would definetely recomment it to my friends!

| "I found the service to be very good. The management does a great job of taking care of a bunch of small things that add up to making a real difference. Like the manager coming out on arrival to introduce himself, the welcome drink and cold towel, the desgner soaps and oils in bathroom, fresh fruit every day. Breakfast was very good and had convenient hours of opening.
Close to airport, beach kept very clean, no hawkers and seemed very safe." |

| "This was our 3rd stay at Casa del Mar. We will certainly return. It is small enough that everyone receives personalized service but not too small. The staff are all great and make guests feel like family. We love everything about the location on a wide broad flat beach which invites both morning and sunset strolls, yet the rooms are close enough to the pool and beach that it is easy to go to your room as necessary, and how central it is making it convenient to walk to shops and restaurant, if we can tear ourselves away from their fusion menu. Breakfasts are great with some self service and a choice of about 10 cooked breakfasts served to order. We love the pitchers of cold water brought to sunbathers every day, along with two mini-treats of fresh chilled fruit, and cold towels to refresh with. How many other hotels include a bit of free internet time in their lobby?
We always buy cinnamon soap from their spa and bring it home with us.
Ask the desk to connect you to Dev who runs ecological tours. Unfortunately we only heard him speak on our last night there but he had the group of us convinced we were ready to go out the next day except for our early flight.
Our only regret is we will be moving away from the region and won't be able to take a short flight to Langkawi to enjoy Casa Del Mar for a long weekend again in the near future. Maybe next time we will have to take two weeks there as many guests do.

| "My husband and I had one of the most relaxing holidays ever. The resort setting was beautiful with some excellent service. Highly recommended for those who want to stop time and relax on a quiet beach side. Complementary cold towels and fruit were definitely a hit along with our room having a little sit out facing the ocean... along with the fabulous pianist to complete the evenings. He is amazing!
The only negative would be the non restriction of smoking - wasn't too pleasant with cigarette smoke heading our way thanks to the guests under the next umbrella on the beach or at the next table outdoors during meal times.
All in all however... lovely, I have a feeling we will be back there one day!" |

| "Great stay for couples, enjoyed the relax environment. Service is excellent and room is very well decorated. The beach is clean and many water sports available. The hotel is pretty expensive thou. Lots of restaurants nearby the hotel, so have wide selection of food. " |

| "Casa Del Mar is perfect for a relaxing get away. The staff are helpful and their attention to detail is excellent. The room was also lovely and I took advantage of having access to a great pool and being located opposite a stunning beach. I highly recommend this hotel." |

| "Fabulous location and fabulous hotel. Couldn't fault it, warm and friendly staff. Centrally located on Cenang beach meant that there was plenty to do in the evenings and we were not restricted to eating in the hotel restaurant (which was excellent by the way.
Breakfast was great, complimentary cold flannels and cold melon served by the pool at just the right time were most welcome. Would recommend." |
