This was our 3rd stay at Casa del Mar. We will certainly return. It is small enough that everyone receives personalized service but not too small. The staff are all great and make guests feel like family. We love everything about the location on a wide broad flat beach which invites both morning and sunset strolls, yet the rooms are close enough to the pool and beach that it is easy to go to your room as necessary, and how central it is making it convenient to walk to shops and restaurant, if we can tear ourselves away from their fusion menu. Breakfasts are great with some self service and a choice of about 10 cooked breakfasts served to order. We love the pitchers of cold water brought to sunbathers every day, along with two mini-treats of fresh chilled fruit, and cold towels to refresh with. How many other hotels include a bit of free internet time in their lobby?
We always buy cinnamon soap from their spa and bring it home with us.
Ask the desk to connect you to Dev who runs ecological tours. Unfortunately we only heard him speak on our last night there but he had the group of us convinced we were ready to go out the next day except for our early flight.
Our only regret is we will be moving away from the region and won't be able to take a short flight to Langkawi to enjoy Casa Del Mar for a long weekend again in the near future. Maybe next time we will have to take two weeks there as many guests do.

| "The stay was great, all employees were really friendly.
It's 15 min away from the airport and you have a decent selections of restaurants nearby.
Basic rooms are small, but we stayed in a Jr Suite and the room was just fantastic.
Is a prefect place for couples that love sightseen and swiming pools.
The beach is nice, but if you are a sea fan, Langkawi is just not your place. Jelly fish, Jelly fish and more Jelly fish, everywhere.
Casa del Mar is a customer oriented and small place, really well run by its manager and with many details, not eassy to find in many places in this segment.

| "Casa Delmar was easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Staff were fantastic, friendly but not in your face. Jason (Manager) was also very accomodating and went the extra mile for guests. Location is perfect,and the beach is also very nice and clean. The Sea Front rooms are worth paying a little bit more for as they are quite private with a beautiful view. We will definately be back! " |

| "We had a great stay at Casa del Mar in early October 08. The hotel is well laid out with friendly and helpful staff. Jason and Victoria who manage the hotel are first rate people, likeable and professional.
The surroundings are fabulous, right on the beach and the facilities at the hotel are very good including pool, bar, dining and spa. The breakfasts are also a real treat.
The place is not so big that you feel lost or "just another tourist" and its conducive to guests chatting together about the day's experiences come the evening drinks.
We had a fabulous time and would be delighted to return some day." |
