I went there during July 2005. It was awesome. The room was so big that i can hold a party inside! 2 Queen size bed. Good Facilities. Nice beach just behind the hotel. Enjoy sea shell collecting, sunbathing and photographing.
There is a beach bar there too.

| "I feel rating this hotel as 4* is overstating it a bit.
The room and bathroom are large and nicely furnished but showing its age now. Also there were large dustballs and grime on the floor of the bedroom and bathroom. And these were not rectified in the daily housekeeping.
The pool is small and shallow and seems more like a children's pool. Despite advertising a poolside massage service, the day my husband and I wanted to book a massage they couldn't offer us a poolside massage. Instead they wanted to do it in a poky room, part of a converted hotel room. And they only had one masseur on duty so they couldn't offer couple massages.
The buffet breakfast was varied and good value. We didn't eat at any of the hotel restaurants so I can't comment on their other meals.
Staff were friendly and helpful. When our driver forgot to pick us up for a tour, the hotel tour desk was very helpful in trying to rectify the matter for us, despite the fact we hadn't even booked through them.
For the price we paid, I feel we got value for money. However, if I go to Langkawi again, I would probably pay a little extra and stay elsewhere. " |
