We stayed at the Tanjung Rhu for two nights in March 2006. The beach was amazing and the resort was beautifully landscaped. Our room was one of the basic options but was very nice and well-equipt with espresso maker, flat screen tv, stereo, soaking tub. There were three very nice pools--we loved relaxing in the sunset pool with its shady trees and view of the ocean.
We ate at all three restaurants and found food to be good, but not outstanding. Particularly we found that we could have passed on our dinner at Rhu for one of the other restaurants. We had no trouble getting reservations for dinner, but the resort did not seem busy. We would definitely go back if we traveled to this part of the world again.

| "The service was great esp. the staff from the rhu restaurant and the spa. The breakfast wasn't so good but the dinner at the rhu was fantastic. I will visit that resort again most likely with my baby. This is a very family style resort. " |

| "Its a surreal place of beauty maintained perfectly by the staff. The luxury is understated and subtle. The quality of the sea can be a little disappointing during low tide in the evening but it is perfect from morning till late afternoon. A rare gem of a place where you can actually feel that you are unwinding. Do not go if you like your holiday to be an adrenalin pumping event-filled blur of days." |
