| "Check-in was efficient as the rooms has been kept ready for me. But unfortunately, when we checked the room, we found that the water was very dirty and yellow with rust and dirt. The water was not cleared even after running the tap for almost half an hour. The bath tub drain trap was choked. The living room tiles was sticky and looks like not moped for years.
We quicky went back to the reception to make a complaint. The counter staff was reluctant to change our room at first but after insisting that we are regular hotel guest they give in and offered us to view another room. We checked and found the room in order (bathroom fittings seems just renovated) and we had to be contented although it was the last block, low floor and very far from the hotel lobby compared to the earlier one which was just next to the lobby and high floor . The hotel reception explained that most of the hotel rooms are actually owned and rented out by the owners and thus they are not renovated or maintained properly unlike the rooms that are still under Mahkota Hotel. | "I recently stayed at the 2room apartment. But found the floor very sticky, the sofa seem like it has not been clean for a long time, when you sat on it, you can feel the itch. and lastly the kitchen sink tap product alot of noise when you turn it on.
Hope you can able to remedy these little details and improved on it. TKs
Regards

| "Stayed twice, location is good though it's abit old. 1st stay was great. Was really disappointed with my 2nd stay though. Was given a much smaller room as compared to my 1st stay despite both times i booked same category of room. Safe was not working, water is really yellow(due to very rusty tap, i guess), tap was leaking and flooded the bathroom, had to get housekeeping to clear the mess and was trying to reach duty manager to check on safe as per instructed by a sticker with duty mangager name & number to call for safe matters, however no one ever pick up that phone. Drove out to night market and return at about 1130pm, rounded thrice and still couldn't get a lot, no choice but to park in a yellow box risking to get our car clamped, fortunately nothing happens. Not much variety on breakfast either, everything is quite empty and whatever food that is cooked with sauces/gravy, sauces/gravy are dripped everywhere and all over the counter/table where food are placed. Really too much angst and disappointment during this stay. Will have to consider thrice before booking on this hotel ever again.." |
