"The club rooms require to be decorated and the furniture renewed. Service was good and the staff very friendly. Entrance to the hotel by car is slightly difficult and I think that better sign posts should be erected to direct you to the hotel. Check in and out went smoothly and the front desk staff were very helpful. Malacca itself is one large museum full of historical sites and facts and well worth a visit."

"The room is fine but only the bathroom needs to be upgraded. They do provide shuttle but overbooked us. We have reserved 9 seats for return but they only gave us 6 seats! Is this the service we should expect from a five stars hotel?"

"I'm quite happy with my stay at your hotel. The facilities, amenities are excellent. Love the food which was served at the Summer Field. Would be good if more facilities are been added; eg. children playroom, slide at the swimming pool, etc. "

"The room service is good which we were happy about. And it is also convenience to shop or moving around like for instance, shopping and those nearby shopping malls. "

"Everything was good except the location. It was a bit far from the heritage village and christ church area where it is most happening. Never the less, I enjoy my stay at Renaissance. "

"The hotel is quite classic. Rooms are clean. Shuttle bus service is provided, which allows us to travel between city centre and the hotel very conveniently! However the quality of breakfast shall be improved. There can be greater variety of food too!"

"Hotel and staff delightful on the whole - unfortunately no tourist information in rooms or readily available at concierge, but this is typical Malaka. Obtaining information or tours about anything other than the historic centre was difficult. Breakfast great - and deserts perfect. Well airconditioned, lounge bar very pleasant in the evening, and hotel shop surprisingly not a rip-off like most hotel souvenir shops! If in Malacca again, I would stay here again."

"The hotel is nice. Prices of the shop with in the hotel is reasonable."

"A nice hotel fulfilling all business standards. Not the very modern type but lovely all the same. I liked the location, even if it wasn't in the old part of town. Life was very authentic around it. The breakfast was brilliant, pleasing all nationalities. Only downpour was that they charged you 52 RM for a wired internet connection in the room for 24 hours. Not even the lobby was for free."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance Hotel and were impresseed with the service. We were disappointed because the swimming pool was closed for maintenance on a Saturday. The maintenance should be planned on a weekday rathder on a weekend. We used to enjoy our table tennis games but learnt that they had discontinued with the table tennis games as the table had been destroyed. "
