Based on feng-shui principles, the mansion is built in an area of 3,000sq.meter and has 220 windows.

The mansion has 16 uniquely themed bedrooms for guests who want a unique heritage experience of its grandeur. These 16 apartments vary in size from each other and are fully air conditioned. All the rooms at Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion are fitted with en-suite bathroom and modern amenities. The Rooms are conserved along traditional designs, and are fitted with period furnishings.
