| "At the beginning of the hotel zone, this hotel was out of the way of the crazy party scene. The room we were in was spacious, however it was so dirty. There was hair in the sheets, on the bathroom floor, and in the shower. The bedspreads were ripped, minimal wall decor, and the kitchenette had dirty glasses with no sponge or soap to clean them. The 2nd floor balcony had no lock on the door, and only one chair to sit on. It had airconditioning, but no where to control it, although it was set at the perfect temp for me. People were nice enough. The beach was about 10 feet from water to hotel steps. Not hardly a beach, and the water in front was not the turquoise Caribbean that we dream of. There was a dock with boats for our view. The pool was tiny and a lot of splashing kids were in it playing. The layout was undesirable as it was like a directed maze to get around the pool to the "beach". Cancun is a party city. The area itself is not for lovers or one seeking peace." |
