| "Great hotel! Only drawback is that the beach is smaller." |

| "We paid $214/night including taxes etc. during high season (New Year's eve and the night afterwards). This was a good rate for PV during that time. The Fiesta Americana rooms are not plush, but they are very clean and comfortable. The floors are marble, the decor is simple and tasteful. Our room, on the 7th floor, had a balcony overlooking the pool/ocean (I think all or most rooms do, but the lower floors may not have as good a view).
The hotel facilities are all very nice, with an airy lobby area, a very nice pool area, beach access and a small but decent fitness center (you have to pay to use the fitness center though).
Service was friendly and competent.
Taxis to town were $5 (US) or so. There's a Gigante supermarket and small shopping center across the street, so you can buy water, snacks etc. We didn't try the food at the hotel but had good meals in town." |
