I booked an executive room and was expecting the room will be nice and big but as soon as I entered the room, I was totally in shock. The room was not as expected, it's small and the furniture especially the wardrobe area look so bad, it really doesn't represent a 4 stars hotel, it must be only 3 stars or below. The wall definitely need to be repainted, the corridor outside the room looks dirty too. When I went down to go somewhere I went to the receptionist and asked her about my room whether that's an executive room or not, she told me to wait a minute as she will check it on the system, and quickly she told me that it was an executive room. Even just to give a very easy question she had to check it on the system first, didn't she remember all the room's types there?
the only good thing about this hotel is the location, it's in the middle of the city and easy for you to get to chinatown too. overall, this hotel is not recommended for people who's looking for a nice accommodation, it's only for budget travelers.

The hotel is in need of a paint job and tidy up. The pool area is lovely although it was too cold for us to use it! The service and staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was average. Location too far from tram area but otherwise quite good. Rooms are very small and bathroom tiny. Rooms clean and adequate. The bar area was nice and prices reasonable.

While the hotel has good location, the room is rather old and in need of renovation. The carpet is dirty and the room is too dim. Entrance to the hotel is by a flight of steps which is not friendly to someone carrying a lot of heavy luggage. Breakfast is however pleasant and substantial.

Room 304 better than room 2 years ago, bigger, not hot sun, so the 04 area will be my request in future. The breakfast was excellent. Good eating facilities around area.
Like most hotels the bar prices were outrageous. and never again. Items in fridge not visible.

I am rating this hotel on the upgraded room called "executive" room. I phoned the hotel and asked them to upgrade me after being warned by colleagues that the standard rooms are not renovated yet.
I found the room, service, facilities and location all to be very good to excellent. The staff on reception could not have been more helpful - nothing was an effort.
Will certainly choose this room and hotel again and will recommend it to others. I was also impressed with your voucher system and the way the tax invoice is emailed later.
