I stayed there for my wedding!
As it was very close to the Cathedral.

The hotel staff were very willing to help, be it checking in or helping us to get a cab. They kept updating us on the progress of the request while we were directed to the sofa to sit and wait.
The standard room is very small. There was only enough space to put our luggage, hardly any space to walk around. However, who is in HK just to stay in the room!? The mattress was comfortable. When I called housekeeping for extra pillows, iron and an iron board, they came within 5 mins. The hair dryer in the bathroom is one of the best I have used in hotels. Great shower head in the showering area too.
It is a good value for money considering that it is on HK island and in mid-levels.

Everything is great except the location
Frankly speaking, this is an ideal hotel for me because I used to travel to Hong Kong almost 7-8 times a year, thus to get in a bus, mtr or taxi to go anywhere in Hong Kong is not an issue to me since I'd get used to it.
This hotel is capable to server all your basic needs and at the same time also impress me with the value added customer service as well as the spectacular cleanliness of the room.
I guess the only minus point will be the location, as I described earlier, if this is your first visit to Hong Kong, you may not find this hotel a perfect choice for you as you will find some difficulties in getting food or other traveler facilities around the hotel, but hotel does provides the free shuttle for the guest to travel down to Central.

A good hotel if you can get the right price. Well located next to most attractions. The roads are a bit steep on the way back but there is an escalator on the way back up to the hotel.
If you like staying out late then it can be a slog back but all in all a very pleasant hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are smaller than exppected but still more than adequte for a few nights sty. The free wifi worked great. I had a junior suite which had a small additional room that was perfect for relaxing with friends and bringing guests. As Hong Kong is such a vibrant place you dont spend much time in the room anyway.
My advice for this hotel would be to negotiate a good room rate prior to booking as it really is a no frills hotel but very modern and clean.

This hotel has almost no facilities except...
This hotel has almost no facilities except for a small cafe' which opens at 7am, so if you are an early bird, no way for you to have breakfast. No bar, no pool, etc. It is far from restaurants and shops, and I had to walk quite a bit to get to SOHO for dinner, which really isn't all that great either cause you have to traverse very steep stairs to try and find a reasonably priced restaurant. The room was so tight that only the bed fit. Nevermind if it was priced low, but it really wasn't. I paid HK$1166.00 for a room that they would only allow one person to occupy. My married friends got a room same time at another hotel at Causeway Bay with a double bed for just HK$700++. The only good thing about this hotel is their free shuttle service to Central and the HK Station. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, regardless of purpose.

Bishop Hotel is a very good hotel,...
Bishop Hotel is a very good hotel, near central and Hong Kong Financial center. The most of the hotel, it's his swimming pool front HK harbour !!!!!! It's great to swin inside. I will back surely in Bishop Hotel, next time, but the next, I will take a room with Harbour view ! Your sincerly Nicolas Rollot

If you are not afraid of small...
If you are not afraid of small rooms, this is a great hotel for holiday&budget travellers. Rooms are clean and modern, but small. Toilets are clean. Inroom safes etc. Nice location near mid-levels escalators. Taksi to central cheap, and driving time short.

Good location at the top of the...
Good location at the top of the escalator. Incredibly clean. Great breakfast. All staff but particularly Ivan on reception were superb.
