Read some comments for the Charterhouse hotel...
Read some comments for the Charterhouse hotel and decided to stay there. It was not close to the MTR station as I thought. I think their toilet has some drainage problem that some bad smell was coming from it all the time. The lobby is dusty and the room is very very very small. For the same price, you I would rather to stay at Wharney Guang Dong instead.

We did find Charterhouse Hotel very convenient....
We did find Charterhouse Hotel very convenient. However felt that the room size was small. Service was not bad but could be better with some of the staff being a little bit more smiling & courteus. We stayed an extra day there but couldn't get the rates which got from asiarooms.com Our request also was not considered. But thats okay we did not plan it correct I think. We may most likely use the same hotel next time around!!

Tiny room. Inadequate bed. Difficult service at...
Tiny room. Inadequate bed. Difficult service at the concierge including trying to scam us by explaining how long the airport express trains take, that we should use his friend's taxi (we ignored it, and had no problems getting back to airport on the train). All in all a very disappointing experience.

The hotel is in a very central...
The hotel is in a very central location, only five minutes walk to Times Square. The service and cleanliness was excellent. We enjoyed our 11 days stay at the hotel very much. However we strongly complain about the very bad driving by the driver of the hotel shuttle mini bus to the convention centre.

Beware of using a phone card when...
Beware of using a phone card when you are calling from your room. They charged a service fee of HK$30 per call, compare to a usual HK$4 in other similar 3 star hotel. This I think is very unreasonable, because they are forcing you to call from the street phone which is often too noisy and inconvenient, not to mention dirty. Even though I am satisfied with all other aspect of the hotel, I will not come back again because of this.

Satisfied in general, but the installations seem a little bit old (wear & tear) which may need an overall renovation in order to have a better impression to the customer.

this is the 1st time i stayed...
this is the 1st time i stayed at the Charterhouse hotel and i am totally happy with the hotel. although it is not a new hotel, the conditions are satisfactory and i am happy.

Location is very convenient. Close to Time...
Location is very convenient. Close to Time square, Causeway bay. Just a walking distance to all the good shopping areas. Room is small, good for one person, max 2 people. Staff is friendly, especially the concierge and the bellboy. Very helpful!

Worst hotel in Hong Kong. They are...
Worst hotel in Hong Kong. They are very unfriendly. We reserve a double room at 1000 HK dollars a nite, they gave us a small tiny room. This hotel deco is very so old and the room is so small and so smell. It locates near many local bars. It is not a good location for family.
