Avoid this hotel if you can
Asia Rooms offered this hotel as a discounted £300/night room. On arrival we were given a twin bed room by a rude staff member rather than the double room booked.
The room was clean but that is the only positive comment I can make. Staff were generally unfriendly and on one occasion male laundry staff burst into my locked room while I was naked. I have NEVER experienced such behaviour from a hotel before.
This was my third trip to Hong Kong and while I'm aware that space is at a premium in this town the room was pathetic for the money, even at the discount offered by Asia Rooms. Very much like a dorm room rather than a hotel.

Excellent value
Excellent value for money, good gym and pool, resonably priced food and drinks, good location, even has karioke rooms undernieth(which you can't hear). A good choice whether visitinh Hong Kong for work or play.

I thought the room was very small and the rate charged was excessive for such a tiny facility.
Much better accomodation nearby at lesser rate which I found when Novotel would not extend my stay even though they had previously indicated to a travel agent that the extra night I wanted was available.
I think their room rats survive on name only.
Pool was freezing so no use even though I had been told OK to use which was a major attraction for me.
Buffet food was good but at top price but dinner in the a la carte restaurant was a disaster, poor selection at over the top prices with slow service. A total waste of money.

Great hotel and good location, bathroom is clean which is the most important thing for me :)) def gonna stay here again

The Novatel Century Hong Kong is my...
The Novatel Century Hong Kong is my preferred hotel when I stay either overnight or for a few days. Close to the Convention Centre, retaurants, shopping and just a short walk to the Wanchai Ferry or the MTR. Overall, I would have no hestitation in recommending the Novatel Century Hong Kong to anyone looking for value for money accomodation. The only thing that nerks me is the massive increase in rates when a major expo or event is town... everyone does it, even in Australia - supply and demand at it's worse...

Only real criticism was that there is...
Only real criticism was that there is only one chair in the room, so one of us had to sit on the bed instead. Hand held shower wall clamp needs tightening to enable shower stream to go in right direction. Otherwise every thing very good, beautiful pool & gym.

For reasons best known to themselves we...
For reasons best known to themselves we were checked out a day early. It took a bit to resolve this. Asia Rooms were sensationally good at sorting out the problem. Up until the last day the hotel staff were very helpful - we got directions to everywhere we wanted written for the taxi drivers, the rooms were good and the ambience was excellent. Overall, if you want to be in the centre of the island this is a good hotel. Top tip: Walk down to use the trams, its a lot nearer than the MTR and much more fun.

This is the second time we have...
This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel because of its excellent position. The hotel is also very clean and the newly modernised rooms are great with plenty of plug points and good bathroom with good variety of toiletries. The service has always been found to be good also. The only fault we would make now that the reception area has been newly set out and refurbished is that there is now no communal seating area for hotel guests. The foyer now seems to be just the reception desk and cofee shop. We have also found that for some reason it is really hard to get taxis outside this hotel whereas we do not experience this problem anywhere else in Hong Kong.

Rooms clean & spacious.Hotel is not value...
Rooms clean & spacious.Hotel is not value for money.More suitable to business than tourists. Hotel lobby still being renovated even tho'advertised as finished late August. Reception staff were not welcoming or friendly. Doorman stood by door, but never bothered to open for anyone.

It was good to get an early...
It was good to get an early check-in but the room was was old and ill-kept. The lobby is always noisy and full of travellers waiting for the shuttle bus. Hospitality at the front desk was lacking, almost to the point of rudeness. Their only saving grace is their location right in the middle of Wan Chai.
