We liked the location of this hotel near Temple Street Night Markets. I had read that rooms were very small so without seeing the double room we agreed to an upgrade to the delux room as we checked in. It was really good and looked out through one of the towering curved glass wall sections. The bus from the Airport will stop right at the Hotel, announcing it, and Hotel staff will arrange for a bus pick up for the airport return. We were given a late checkout (4PM), to fit in more sight-seeing/ resting, and staff were at all times helpful. Breakfast was a buffet with anything you could wish for.

I have stayed here around six times, and each time I am as impressed as the last. All the staff are remarkably cheerfull and very helpfull. Good spacious welcoming check in area with high rising atrium. The rooms are typically small Hong Kong size but super clean modern and all mod cons. Small well equipped gym and relaxing roof top pool area. There is free internet access in the down basement coffee bar, free local calls from foyer phones and great deals on buffet meals, and only a 3 minute walk to the subway. A very cheap taxi ride to Kowlooon Station for the airport express, 2 minutes walk from Temple Night Market and frequent buses to the Star Ferry 8-10 mins away. Good x xection of local shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Excellent Value for money for travellers and businessmen alike.

For a first-timer to HK, I think that this is a very suitably located hotel with all the markets in the vicinity. Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing refurbishments, therefore didn't get to see the main entrance. Anyway, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I required information on getting around in HK, even though their English weren't very fluent. Room was average sized, but good enough for the night.

The hotel rooms are small but clean with good facilities. The staff, including the chamber maids, are friendly and helpful and professional. My request for three rooms to be placed together at a high level non-smoking floors was fulfilled, and the check-in was smooth despite their full house status. Eaton Hotel is very well located with Jade Market, Temple Street Market, Ladies Street Market and two MTR stations in close vicinity. Great food can be found close by and the area around this street fronting hotel is busy and vibrant, making it safe to return at any time. The gym is good and the staff is very helpful to guide you in using the facilities; the pool is small but very tastefully designed. For this price and service, I do recommend it as the best choice in the vicinity of Jordan and Yau Ma Tei.

I have been staying in Eaton Hotel since 1996. Though the frontdesk staff dun speak very fluent english but they are still helpful. Applause for the Conceige team, they recognise me from my 3rd stay with them. The hsekeeping team are friendly aso. The rooms though small but comfortable (i have stayed in even smaller rooms in HK hotels. i mean dun expect big spacious rooms in HK unless u stay in YMCA or the places like Peninsula Plaza / Harbour View / Ritz Carlton, etc). Only sad point is that the pool is always booked for functions so rarely get a chance to relax there.

Commenting on Unhappy's comments above, did you pay for an upgrade? Why do you feel you need to be upgraded if you didn't pay for it. The other people might have asked for it before you and maybe were in the right place at the right time. The eaton hotel is a good hotel very convenient. Hotel is excellent for the price. Please do not let one person's comment discourage you from booking this hotel

I had stayed in this hotel for 4 days with 2 other friends in one small and misery room. We requested for upgrade but to no avail. I wonder why, as another 2 couple got the priviledge to upgrade their room automatically to a bigger room. Well, my suggestion is that please don't have too much hope for this hotel. Overall it is very clean and convenient but the customer service is poor.

I booked this hotel from the internet and base on the positive reviews from this website. The hotel is excellently placed near the Temple Street market in Kowloon. Jordan MTR station is a 5 minute walk away which gives you access to Hong Kong's excellent transport system. I can't comment on the restaurant facilities as I eat out at local stalls/restaurants. The only down side to the hotel is that noise travels from adjoining rooms. But the view was fantastic.
