We stayed at BaliSani Padma early October - I am unsure whether it was because we booked through Asia Rooms and it was at a cheaper rate but we were put in a room at the back of the motel that overlooked a rubbish tip. The tip was being burned at different stages during the day and it wasnt a pleasant smell. The room was tidy enough but it too had a strong pungent smell. Our main issue though was that we were unable to get hot water. On the first day we reported the lack of hot (even warm) water to reception and were told to wait for 5 minutes and that it would eventually get hotter. We waited up to 15 minutes with still no hot water. The following day we reported it again, this time a service man was sent to the room and he said the same thing "You wait 5 minutes, water get hotter then". A short time after the service man arrived we had a call from reception apologising that the hot water wasnt switched on to our room, that it was corrected now, and to wait 10 minutes for the water to heat.

We have stayed at Balisani Padma a number of times now and have nothing but good to report! For budget accomodation it meets all our expectations. We have stayed in 5star accom. in Bali but this one just gives us everything we need and more- and it's cheap!!! If you are after cheap, central, value for money accomodation then Balisani is for you!

I don't like this hotel. I booked it even after reading some bad reviews because I was little on the budget side. But later I realized that whatever money I spend, it should be worth spending. But it was not true in my stay at this hotel. No hospitality, no service(not even wifi), okay types breakfast. Receptionist called me half an hour late as per my wake up call time. My bathroom started leeking the first day and room was partially floating. All in all my experience says that either stay in budget guest house accommodation or get ready to pay more for at least minimum required luxury.

The staff were really good, really honest, and friendly.
The hotel had a nice pool, it was a good location in Bali, not to far from the beach.
The bathroom was very bad.

This hotel needs updating, pool good some staff good some not, waited to give food order for 15 mins and gave up!! sometimes feels like they cant be botherd to serve you. but you get what you pay

apart from a few issues, namely that the ceilings leak when it rains, the lack of in-room safes, the fact that the bathrooms and toilet areas need to be soaked in disinfectant and scrubbed to within an inch of their lives and that the breakfast menu is the same everyday this was a great hotel to sleep in for $35 a night.
clearly the balisani has seen better days but nothing some minor renovations couldn't fix...

Bathroom and Door to be evaluated
the bathtub and toilet are splitted. the problem is : they want a dry bathroom , but however guests cannot avoid that somehow water can spill out. So the disaster is .. flood
