Not so great, left early
Booked for 4 days, but left after 2. Room was moldy and dusty; No hot water, despite frequent complaints to mgmt, rarely got beyond luke warm; Dusty and ill-fitting mosquito net with spiders and cob webs in corners. It was so ill-fitting that it left 4 fist-sized holes at each corner where the corner posts were supposed to fit; Creeky bed, and getting on and off would cause more dust to fall from mosquito net giving me allergies; In the bathroom, they provided a dirty comb that suggested it had been used; No internet in room, no wifi anywhere. Just a single old computer behind reception area was available when it was not being used for admin tasks; The only spare electric outlet was in bathroom; The room design was a bit odd. For instance, there was a 2nd door right next to the main door. But the 2nd door had a flimsy lock and it was just as easy and convenient to use as main door. Hence, not great for security. Actually, speaking of security, the room's security deposit box wasn't fully functional (several keys weren't working); I'd rate the room as 3 stars if it were clean and well maintained, definitely not 4 stars; Reception team was generally very nice, but not fully professional and sometimes absent, e.g. filling in their own invoicing forms wrong

After having booked this hotel, i read very bad reviews and i was very pleased to discover this charming place! It's 20 minutes from Ubud and the road in the rice fields is amazing! It's like staying in the jungle, the swimming pool is clean and beautiful.

A very beautiful hotel set in the jungle about 25 minutes from Ubud. It was very idealic and one felt truly in touch with nature whilst there. Food was fair and the service was good. Only downside was the travel into Ubud which was a little long during morning and afternoon peak times.
Ideal for a quite getaway!!

puri saron is a very good for relaxation and away from the crowded place to stay.the staff were very helpful ,i took 1.5 hrs by motorbike to reach ubud and 1 hr to mt kintamani .is a great resort for those who like nature and adventure .i will stay the resort again.

Nice view, pleasant staff, big room and we have our own balcony... The room is very clean and they clean up the room within half an hour (when we went for our breakfast in the restaurant hotel). However, it located one and a half hour from international airport in Denpasar. Overall, it is a very good hotel for budget traveller and those who want to enjoy natural environment.

Our stay in this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is set into the side of a sharp decline overlooking lush rain forest. The buildings are beautiful and show off the intricate Balinese architecture and wood design. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an excellent experience and would recommend it to all our friends.

Stayed here for 3 days with my girlfriend and it was paradise! We had our own detatched little house with a huge room, lovely bathroom and balcony that overlooked the forest. We were about 10 steps away from the gorgeous infinity pool which hung over the forest. There was only one other family there so we had the whole place to ourselves! The resort setting is really remote and away from all tourists...it is in the middle of the real Bali, surrounded by paddy fields and forest, near where the locals live in their traditional ways. Besides everything Ive mentioned, the best part about this resort is the staff. They are so kind and friendly. They constantly have a smile on their face and will fall over backwards to help you in any way they can. Only down-point was the food which wasnt great but everything else was paradise. Unbelievable value and I would recommend it to everyone.
