2nd time stay in Villa room in Batam View Beach Resort
This is my big family's year end holiday. For this first room, this is my mom and dad's 2nd time stay in the 1 bedroom Villa. My mom loves the ocean view and feeling of having water splashing juz under the balcony. She's got Villa 808 with a good view but the flooring of the balcony looks old and there are gaps between the wooden planks. Quite dangerous for her grandchildren. I observed that the flooring of the neighbouring Villas are newer and with broader planks. Due to the location of the Villa, she feels the hassle to call the buggy to go to & fro the hotel lobby - wasted a lot of time waiting. Food in the Melati Coffee House is also expensive as it chargers in Singapore dollar.

Enjoyable family holiday in Batam View
This is my big family's year end holiday.This second room is for my sister's family. Apart from the delayed check-in, the rest of the stay is great. The suite room 242 is spacious for her 2 kids. The room has great pool view and the Xbox Kinect room is awesome for the whole big family.

Enjoyable 3rd time stay in Batam View
This is my big family's year end holiday.This third room is for me & my hubby. The Superior room 329 is not overlooking a great view but however, the room is quite spacious with a king bed. The room smells of alcohol eventhough I've tried spraying with my perfume. The flooring is an old parque which is cold if bare-footed.
The activities available in the hotel is great which my son really enjoyed with his cousins. He enjoyed the pool, the Xbox 360 Kinect, the Karaoke and of course the food (more expensive as it charges in SGD$). We didn't spend much time for the sea activities like the banana boat and the jet ski due to the rainy season. My son also missed playing the motorized bike in field which he played on our 1st stay in Batam View.
Overall stay is enjoyable, however, if u are planning to do mostly shopping in Batam, it might not be a gud idea to stay here as it takes abt 45 mins to reach Nagoya the town area by taxi which cost me S$20 per trip. It'll be a great place if u juz wanna escape the city and enjoy the sea. Shuttle service to/fro Nongsa ferry terminal is also provided by the hotel and they also did a great job confirming our ferry departure schedule. Great holiday trip my family had :)

Good Service, Nice Rooms, Value for Money
On first sight the exterior of the hotel looks slightly old and run down however the interior and the rooms more then make up for it. The rooms are big, clean and nicely decorated. Worth it for the price. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. We were met by the friendly staff at the ferry terminal and we took the shuttle bus provided to the hotel. The hotel is just a few mins away from the ferry terminal. The bathrooms are decent. The only issue is that the resort is secluded, its perfect for an escape but if you want shopping or nightlife i would not recommend it. Food is an issue especially if your on a budget. There are no food outlets nearby where you can get cheaper food. The room service menu is very limited and very expensive, the breakfast buffet did not have much of a selection and for one of the days of our stay we were served leftovers from the previous nights dinner. The Kelong restaurant however did have very good seafood at a decent price. The beach is not much of a beach but there is plenty of activities so its a good place for groups and families. The spa is nice, great service, nice spa environment and good massages at a reasonable rate. Will definitely go back and stay here.

3d 2n with my wife
is a great getaway frm sg to batam durin this 3d 2n stay in bvr hotel. staff is friendly and helpful , needs patientce to communicate with them with simple english.hotel facilities is ok, clean and comfy..wondering y there is no safe in the room to safe keep our belongings though it may nt seem as an impt tool in the rm.
suggest hotel below can hav some late open cafes since the hotel is 30mins away frm town - shopping malls , the lobby lounge food is limited and can only go to the gift shop thea to buy some finger food and cup noodles and drinks and closed @ 10pm..most SG ppl would prefer a starbucks or coffee bean when they cant sleep and chill ard in the cafe. their private beach was a bit disappointed as most who went will agree... its a barren pce of beach ..mayb they shld revamp the beach and hotel guests gt 1 more place to go play water besides the pool? the seafood kelong food was fab =) Cheap and gd..
we will definitely go bac for the spa, massage and relax again.

Our visit to Batam Island
Excellent hotel and facilities, friendly staff. However, isolated from main centre so visitors will need to rely on hotel food. Loads of activites and ideal location for golfers, lovely beach but sea is polluted so you won't be able to swim except in the pool. We would stay there again.

A disappointing weekend get-away
A one-bedroom villa was booked through AsiaRooms at a favorable rate, but two days before my trip the hotel staff called me saying the villa I booked was damaged by theheavy rain the night before so the one bedroom villa will not be available by my arrival date. Therefore a smaller villa without kitchen and living room was offered to us @ S$205 nett, but the smaller villa is really small and disappointing. In the end we chose the hotel room instead of villa.
We also booked the prince and princess spa and massage, but when we went for the spa, we were told there is no couple room so we have to be seperated for three hours. Disappointed again...

Good but food price too ex
My families had stayed there for three days two nights. Service excellent but food prices are extremely ex. Is not worth paying by credit card as they will use sgd to convert to rupiah. Rooms booked through Asia rooms and paid by credit card will be different rate. Is not worth it as it will turn our to pay $15 more. Which is not fair as not stated in asiarooms web when reserving the rooms with asiaroom. Spa cheap as they are having promotion. 90 mins full body massage cost $37nett. Overall the place is mend for relaxing as nothing much there.

Lovely place. The private beach is shallow, but the view at sea shore not far away is impressive, hopefully they would clean it.
