Beatifully arranged hotel but very far away...
Beatifully arranged hotel but very far away from anything. The beach is accessible, just in front, and is beautiful but swiming there is not possible without protection as there is very little sand and coral covers the ocean floor instead. Everything is very expensive, to such a point that you could call it overpriced! On the other hand, service is fantastic and there is nothing the staff will stop at to please you.

Tugu Lombok is absolutely gorgeous. Our room...
Tugu Lombok is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was beautifully done up with Indonesian artifacts and we had a massive antique four poster bed in our Aloon Aloon suite. Every room is different, and all fully equipped with flat screen TV's, cable and DVD player. Our bathroom was the size of a small bedroom, with a small garden. And opened to the skies. The hotel provided candles in the bathroom for a relaxing, romantic baths. The hotel is brand new and we did not get to experience the spa as it was not ready yet. But the wonderful staff arranged for a massage by the sea in a curtained bale. They also arranged for a magical canlelit dinner on the sands by the sea. We are an older couple and way past our honeymoon but the staff made us feel special and . Set on a beautiful white sandy beach with a lovely infinity pool, good food, gorgeous r. Its a mini paradise. Private with a laid back sophistication.
