Good Hotel Overall
Stayed there for 9nights during the recent SEA Games. We were given a room with substandard bathroom on the first few nights. Bathroom was missing a tub and shower curtains (you can see the outline of the bathtub), and also missing was a vanity top.
There was no spa facilities for women, the spa was only for men which was strange. For women requiring a massage; they only do in your guest room. The girls that came to our room were dressed in tiny short skirt and 3-inch heels, wonder why the uniform was such. Highly recommend the spa by the side of PTC mall; a 3-min walk from the hotel. It's professionally run and facilities were great.
In-room dining was far from satisfactory but the hotel's Chinese restaurant serves good quality food.
Hotel environment was overall great and the PTC mall provides much needed alternative to other services which was less than satisfactory in the hotel.

Thumbs Up For Novotel And Palembang
I was not disappointed by the service provided by the Hotel. The Palembang people, as most Indonesians do, go out of their way to ensure your stay in Novotel Hotel as well as the City, a very pleasant and memorable one.
Once you are within the Hotel, the landscape transports you into another world. A world away from the city.
A big shopping arcade, Palembang Trade Center (PTC), just beside the Hote,l offers fantastic bargains.
Would be delighted to visit the hotel and city when opportunity arises.
