The location was very convenient, staff courtesy...
The location was very convenient, staff courtesy and friendliness excellent and the hotel environment very pleasing. It would have been helpful to have one staff member on reception at all times who spoke good English, however we are not complaining since staff went out of their way to be helpful. We will definitely stay at the Granvia Hotel again if we visit Kyoto.

We love the location of the hotel....
We love the location of the hotel. The room was quite spacious compared to our hotel in Tokyo though not much of a view but we can't complain as the price was quite reasonable with asiarooms. Staff were courteous (bowing all the time). Room service was speedy. In short, try to book this hotel whenever you're in Kyoto. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the place, very convenient location, spacious...
Loved the place, very convenient location, spacious room, cannot fault the service. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel, and what better location than...
Excellent hotel, and what better location than a short escalator ride from the train exit. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. You couldn't ask for more after traveling for 24 hours - from jumbo jet to Kansai terminal to train shuttle to Kyoto Station to bed at the Granvia. It all happens so seamlessly. Will definitely return again.

The Granvia is a beautiful hotel with...
The Granvia is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean accomodations. Very convenient location as we used it as our base hotel to sightsee around Kyoto. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. Even more aloha then we find in Hawaii! Will definitely stay there again!

It was our first time to Japan...
It was our first time to Japan and the hotel Granvia was the first hotel we stayed in during our trip. Finding it was no problem as it was well signposted and was within the station complex. We stayed in a standanrd twin room but t far exceeded 'standard' more like superior. The beds and especially the bedding guaranteed a great nights sleep. Everywhere in the hotel was extremely clean and very tastefully, the staff polite and helpfull and I'd highly recommend this hotel, experience to anyone.

Hotel Granvia is a realy wonderful Hotel....
Hotel Granvia is a realy wonderful Hotel. It is connected to Kyoto Station, which is an architectual marvel in itself, and close to Department Stores and sightseeing. The room was a good size and the bathroom luxurious. The lobby is grand and welcoming and the staff absolutely first class. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The Granvia hotel was absolutely beautiful, the location was superb being directly connected to the JR Kyoto station and within walking distance to many attractions and department stores. The room we stayed in was immaculate, everything was beautiful, clean and spacious, especially the bathroom. The desk staff were also very helpful and I was especially impressed with the dedicated guest relations officers area, where they will organise your tours, give you maps and direct you to all things or interest in Kyoto. All the staff were excellent and did everything in their power to ensure you enjoyed your stay. I would definitely reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kyoto, I for one will be staying again!
