Holiday Inn Melaka
Hotel provided a free upgrade to the straits view as they were unable to accommodate my friends and I n the same floor. Many thanks to Kim of Holiday Inn Melaka for making our stay a pleasant one.

very modern hotel which is very conforatble. Great pool area. Well located, just a short walk from the old town centre - although there is a busy road to cross.

Rate for short stay
We just stay less than 15Hrs but pay full rate? May be next time offer less than a day rate. Breakfast discount will not attractive, have some for 1 for 1 free or other than that.

Satisfied customer
Our 2 night stay was a very pleasant one - the service was excellent. All the hotel staff we met were friendly and greeted us with a smile.
The deluxe room with swimming pool & sea view was great. The housekeeping personally came to give us a fruit platter which was a nice touch. The only downside to the room was the bedsheets & towels did not feel like they were freshly laundered.
The facilities like gym, spa and swimming pool were good. Cakes & pastries are half-price after 6pm, really good value.
The location is also ideal being walking distance to eateries & 3 big shopping malls : Makhota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan and Hatten Square.

Nice Room with Seaview
Check in was fast, counter staff was always carry a bright smile on their face. We got a room on the 16th floor facing the sea. Room was great and clean, was abit disappoint that there's no bathtub in my room. Sea view is great when every morning wake up, get to see sunrise n sunset. There is a disco/pub opposite the hotel but the room sound proofing is great as you won't hear the loud music from it. Breakfast was so-so only, still need room for improvement. But staff in the hotel are very good as they will really tried their best to deliver their service and are being very helpful. Convenient location where shopping malls are withing walking distance.
Worth to pay abit more to get the sea view room.

Quite new hotel, nice place to stay in!
This is a relatively new hotel, clean rooms, super nice bed considering the fact that the room we got was a standard room. Safe carpark. Friendly helpful staff. Bathroom is clean, spacious with thoughtful necessities. The hotel is just a 5-10min walk to Mahkota Parade where is there is food n shopping, cinemas etc. Good for a short trip to recharge or to escape from the city! Me & gf enjoyed it!
Definitely recommended and will come back again!

I went with my family of 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 elderly. We enjoyed our stay and the room is comfortable. As compared to my previous stay in Hotel Equatorial, this is much nicer probably because Holiday Inn is still considered a new hotel. In terms of shopping convenience, Hotel Equatorial is better as it's just next door.
