Service, rooms, food and cultural entertaintment
The service for front desk, rooms and food were pretty good especially for a remote area like the Mulu. My son and I enjoyed the cultural entertainment being that they kept it short and the staffs were friendly.

Fantastic Resort.
What a wonderful time I had at Royal Mulu, the staff were very helpful and friendly and could not do enough for you. Plenty to do there with some fantastic trips which can be organised by the Resort. The food was great and it was fun to have a show each evening in which the staff took part with enthusiasm. I cant thank them enough.

Lo más destacable de este hotel es...
Lo más destacable de este hotel es su ubicación, no muy lejos del Parque Nacional pero sí lo suficiente como para necesitar el shuttle en cada desplazamiento, lo que no lo hace muy conveniente para quien quiera moverse a su aire. Las habitaciones son correctas, nada lujosas

On the whole this resort is good...
On the whole this resort is good for its location to the caves and its setting by the river enables gives a convenience to visit the clear water caves . The staff are very friendly and efficient. We were a group of seven and all vegetarian. When we checked in as usual we go up to the restaurant and ask if they will have vegetarian dishes in the buffet for dinner. We were told there isn't much and were told to pay extra for being vegetarian!! The most ridiculous and absurd thing i've ever heard. Having already paid £100 per night i expected the answer to be - we will orgainise something for your group. Anyways all in all we had a pleasant stay and would recomment the tour guide at the hotel i think his name is Andy. He is very knowledgable and was eager to take my disabled cousin on her wheelchair all the way through the caves! Well done, Hope you find this helpful

The hotel is the only alternative to...
The hotel is the only alternative to Mulu National Park accommodation when you are staying in Mulu. The very idea of going to Mulu is to explore the surrounding caves and nature and does not imply spending much time in the hotel. Staying in Mulu for 3 days we merely used the hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast/dinner. The food was OK-ish and the beverage prices above average in the restaurant, so we preferred to stop by at a bistro at the park entrance. It's to far to walk from the resort to the park so be prepared to pay 12MR/person return trip each time you leave the resort

The resort is in a beautiful location....
The resort is in a beautiful location. However, it is in need of renovation and repair for example the board walk that connects all rooms is breaking up in parts. The food is well below average standard and not good enough for a resort of this size. Transfers to the national park are a another added cost and soon mount up.
