the hotel was excellent no doubt....upon arrival i was told that there were no rooms available ...i was quite surprised as I have made reservation weeks back prior to my arrival..i in the end we managed to resolve the issue..... apart from that the whole environment was perfect....

made my Holiday even more special
The staff are second to none in friendly service and always great you with a smile and a hello, the manager even took time out of his hectic day to show me and my friends around the town, Will be returning to Davao in the near future and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Nice place with a nice pool. The...
Nice place with a nice pool. The rooms are arranged around the pool. I booked an Executive Room which is a 2-story setup. At the bottom is a lounge, tv and small kitchen and upstairs is the bedroom. The place is a little old but clean and comfortable. Bathroom (shower only) upstairs is fairly small. The restaurant food is ok. Breakfast isn't great but it's included in the price. Service in the Cafe is hopeless. Every time I was in there I had to go up to the counter to ask one of the waiters to drag himself away from his private conversation and come and serve me. The gym is small and functional. Some of the equipment needs to be serviced/repaired but it's good enough if you just want to go for a quick run on the treadmill. Not sure about the location. Davao is a huge city so anywhere I wanted to go was a long taxi ride away (except for the airport which is quite close). All up, not bad and I'd probably stay there again if I needed to be close to the airport.

The staff were wonderful but the hotel is very tired. Needs refurbishing.

I had a stay in the Crown...
I had a stay in the Crown for two weeks with my friend, and I'm most happy with the hotel (much more happy with my friend, but that has nothing to do with the hotel ;-). The suite was a nice place, with large rooms, and every accomodation we needed. I saw some comments on the bathrooms, but, knowing the Asian way to use them, there is no point to have negative remarks. Of course, the -very clean and nice- swimming pool is inviting to take a dive, and so people with children (and others) make some noise from time to time, but I believe someone who cannot enjoy other's laughing and playing, can better stay in a nice silent mansion for old people, or so. I plan to have a wedding trip soon, and I'm sure it shall be in the Crown, in Davao. I want to thank all the staff for their kind and nice attention, and for their always friendly smile. Further on, I want to recommend their 'membership', what gives some more financial advances, and possibilities to taste more of their accomodation.

My stay at Crown Regency was very...
My stay at Crown Regency was very rewarding. I especially like the FABULOUS 50'S CAFE. It was very nostalgic for someone who had their teen years in the 50's. The food was of miniman quality, but ample. The staff were all very cordial. All of our needs were atteneded to with grace and poise. Jim Boulton

I loved my stay in Davao,but I...
I loved my stay in Davao,but I would not stay in the Crown Regency again.We stayed in a family suite,sleep six people..but they only provide 2 breakfast coupon each morning????????The rooms needs major makeover!!!!!!Housekeeping is disgusting(making the bed and sweeping the floor)I have to remind housekeeping to mop our floors and change our linen everyday.Dining is very average....The hotel is over price and staff incompetent.

television is not working.....food was good but...
television is not working.....food was good but not well prepared .We waited at the cafeteria long..waiters to slow....
