Didn't really like the breakfast served as the variety of items is very limited. Only ate once there and i rather go out to the street to have my breakfast.
They should improve on the customer service to be a bit more flexible. After checking out while waiting for my transport service to arrive, have request to use the washroom but was told that there isn't one on the lobby and i have to go out on the street to a nearby cafe to use the washroom. Was quite disappointed by this.
Overall, i would say that my stay there was quite ok and would consider staying there again

A pleasant stay
We had a pleasant stay at Regal Executive Suites. Very convenient location with very easy access by bus and train. Just few minutes to train station and we can get to anywhere we wish to go. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful when we need help on directions. Best of all when we check-out, we can get a bus within walking distance from our suite and it bring us to the International Airport..

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Regal Executive Suites. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! They were always on hand to assist when needed, the location of the hotel was also a bonus. Less than a 2min walk from the MRT station and one stop away on the metro from Songshan airport, with local family run restaurants, shopping districts, and other tourist attraction nearby; you will definitely have plenty to be occupied by.
Unfortunately, we found that our room had a bit of a damp smell to it, the carpet could do with either a good scrub or just changing/removing it completely. I also found a chocolate cookie wrapper on the floor in the corner next to my headboard. Which suggests, the room had not been vacummed before our arrival, and I also noticed that during the whole duration of our stay the wrapper remained in the same place. On some occasions, the bathroom had a bit of a 'toilet' smell to it. Apart from the above mentioned we had an alright stay at the hotel. We were provided with fresh towels, and new slippers everyday and to top it all off - excellent customer service! Would stay here again? Yes, I probably would.

There Are Other Better Places For the Same Amount of Money
This is a rundown apartment style hotel. The TVs are bulky 1980s models with broken remote controls (even with new battery). In the morning it takes 5 minutes for the hot water to flow through. The breakfast is the worst among the hotels in Taipei, no any kind of juice, fewer choices and open from 7:30 to 9:30 only compared to others open for 2.5 to 3 hours in the morning. There is a coined washer and dryer but the dryer is not efficient, takes long long time to dry up so people have to wait for long time and attend to it frequently. No WiFi, only cabled internet, very slow, don't count on it making IP phone call. The air conditioner makes people uncomfortable in winter, it's not a heater, it's fan that blows into people's face when sleeping. I have stayed in many hotels in Taipei from NT 1300 to NT 2800, this place is close to subway but other than that I don't see good value in it. Apparently the owner never renovated the property for 20 years. It's just a rundown apartment charging $70 a day.

Would recommend this hotel. It is value for money and room quality is good. Only thing not everyone will like the breakfast as it is Chinese style porridge breakfast and some toast and cereal.

We were able to get some hawker food nearby. The only complaint is that we were not provided with a take-away breakfast as we had to leave the hotel early to catch a flight. We hope the management will look into this matter.

Cheap but not clean
The location of this hotel is convenient within walking distance to the MRT and just one stop from Sunjiang Airport (TSA). The rooms are reasonably equipped and offer free internet (very slow and unstable though). Staff is helpful and friendly. The down side is the cleanliness. The carpet in the room is dirty and was not vacuumed behind the entrance door for months... It is certainly a good price but, I will not go there again.
