good hotel, but the mosquitos were in...
good hotel, but the mosquitos were in our room upon check in. I also requested a 2nd floor room 4 months before arriving. They did not have one for me upon arrival. Considering it was my honeymoon, you'd think It wouldn't be an issue. Great location though. Be sure to have the hotels name written in thai or you will be walking home alot.

I liked the hotel, lovely bathroom which...
I liked the hotel, lovely bathroom which was very large and nicely laid out. I did notice the mosqitios not only in the room but around the reception, this cant be helped there seems to be a lot of them in chiang mai. My only unpleasant thing that happened was that when I was leaving they accused me of stealing a face cloth from the bathroom and asked me to pay 50 Baht(which I would not pay). I did notice it was not there when I had my room made up the day before, but did not think anything of it. So a warning to others to check that everything is in its place.

For a very new boutique hotel this...
For a very new boutique hotel this is really an outstanding property which is very well managed. The rooms are spacious, very well designed and finished AND very affordable for the standard delivered. Reception staff are graceous and well train - I'd rank them amongst the best I've experienced in recent years. Restaurant offers very good food, in a nice surrounding and once again - excellent staff. Location is good for shopping and proximity to airport. Chiang Mai does have a bit of a mosquito problem - take the same precautions here as you would anywhere else in the world! The threat of 5,000 bhat fine for smoking in the room is a little cavelier - but an adiquate balcony is provided.

Yaang Come Village was a lovely oasis...
Yaang Come Village was a lovely oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai. A very peaceful location and within walking distance of good restaurants and the markets. The rooms were very large, clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend staying here.

Nice location big bathroom (in the deluxeroom)staff very helpful and go out of their way to please. Mosquitoes a bit of a problem but hotel provides a zapperfor your rrom if you ask. We wish there was A/C in the bathroom but there wasn't- just in the bedroom/living area. We got a pretty good rate through asiarooms which included breakfast also they had two free internet stations on a lovely verandah under a nice old banyan tree. Overall a good visit and nice accomodations.
