Generally this hotel was very good and...
Generally this hotel was very good and suited all of our needs. Great location (next door to shopping, atms and very short walk to the beach) and room size was value for money. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view and the bathroom was lovely...shower (separate) and a bath! My only negative would be the cleanliness could be improved. Dont get me wrong, it's perfectly clean but dishes from room service sat outside in the hallways for 2 days when we were there. Also, housekeeping entered our room twice without knocking first. I was a little annoyed at that. Luckily though no-one was embarrassed! Nevertheless the location and good rooms made up for it and overall we were happy with our stay. I would most likely stay in the hotel again.

I'm really satisfied with my room. I definitely will come again with my boyfriend. And the staff is pretty friendly, too.

In general, staying at Kata Poolside Resort...
In general, staying at Kata Poolside Resort was a very positive experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I would have just one reservatiion. The laundry service. Laundry could not be handed in until after 8a.m. and was not available until the evening of the following day. In other hotels in Thailand, laundry could be handed in from 6a.m. and was returned the same evening. Also, it was difficult to understand why a ladies panties (underwear ) cost twice as much as a man's underpants! However this is a fairly minor matter and I would definitely be happy to stay in this hotel again. Teresa Erdpohl.

The hotel was beautiful, the service was...
The hotel was beautiful, the service was good and the rooms were nice with a beautiful, if small, bathroom. While we were there the pool was not working, but we were pleased with everything else.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Kata Poolside Resort. The staff were very friendly, and it offered great value for money. The resort is relaxing. Defo stay there again.

excellent room and facilities regarding the price...
excellent room and facilities regarding the price (i stayed in low season Sept. 2006, booked by internet through asiarooms, paid 870 THB instead of 1300 asking price at reception) negative to me: 500 THB penalty fee for guest coming to visit overnight. guest must leave ID card overnight is ok, but if only family and couples are welcome its not my cup of tea...

we enjoyed our stay very much,room very...
we enjoyed our stay very much,room very nice and big ,even there was no view but there were many things to do around the hotel,and just only 2 minutes walk to the kata beach,the price is very cheap,we will be staying there again.

Greate pool. Greeat location, just 5 minutes walk to the beach. Simple breakfast. The tourservice is greate. I just have to mention that the managment should be a bit more flexible. Just book your reservation on the net.

Generally, we found the hotel staff friendly and approachable. If there had been no ongoing construction, the stay would have been even better.

beautifully decorated room. has a bathtub whereby i could just soak in while watching TV. great place to stay in. loved the time i was there. only drawback was that there was no view. sigh. but splendid place to stay in.
