Great location on a HILL TOP of karon beach.
The hotel is very green and gives you the feel of a Jungle retreat
very nice hotel, but too much construction and up-gradation happening.
Only one restaurant working currently, and that too the food was full of ants.
Would suggest the local restaurants around the area, which is SUPER NICE.
A must TRY Som Pam Mala (Seafood restaurant) just 5 min walk from the hotel
Great shuttle service to-and from the hotel to the foot hill
Would like if the shuttle service is there for the karon beach road area at least
This hotel will be much better after full restoration work is finished

We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. The staff are friendly and rooms are clean, with comfy pillows. Very family friendly with 3 pools, one being suitable for toddlers. There is a small walk down the hill to get to town, but free tuk tuk up and down the hill. They also provide free bus tranfers into patong and back. This was a comfortable Hotel and the food was great!

Although this hotel sits at the top of a small hill,it should'nt pose a problem to those of us who are reasonable fit and healthy.But if it does, the hotel provides a tuk tuk (free) that transports guests up and down all day.
We found the staff very friendly,attentive and always eager to help with a smile.On our arrival we were upgraded to the Duluxe rooms,at no extra cost.The rooms were very clean, modern,and serviced every day.
The food was delicious and with a good variety both at breakfast and dinner.
I would certainly stay here again and would also recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel 20 miutes away from the husle and bustle of Patong.

Home from home!
Very surprised to see when we arrived the reception knew who we were without asking! Very professional at check in desk, greeted with a welcoming drink and we were checked in very quickly. we had booked for B&B but were given free dinner for each night as a promotion and we upgraded to a privilege club room for an extra 1000 BAHTS per night, so no children in this part of hotel along with use of seperate pool,free wi-fi in room, daily newspaper and free beverages, almost became a "fully inclusive" stay! Room was very spacious with a large bathroom and balcony. Location was very convenient & very close to the shops & beach. The steep hill from the hotel was no problem as the Hotel tuc tuc was always readily available.
Hotel's massage quite expensive but plenty of cheaper at the bottom of the hill and very good value. Hotels facilities and food are very good and all the staff greeted you with a smile and a greeting, nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent Hotel.

Perfect affordable holiday
I would definitely go back again. You don't need to do the upgrade as I had a pool view with the standard room. Yes the water runs a bit from the bath onto the floor, but it's not a big deal. The staff are friendly and even though your one beach away from Patong it is easy to access a Tuk Tuk or take the shuttle there. However I found everything I needed in the surrounding streets. The type of people are families, couples but also young groups of friends. You can hear the wildlife which makes you feel like your staying really far out. I felt like I was living the high life at a great price

If you want more action, go to Patong. Karon is more relax. Tuk tuk rides to anywhere are a little expensive, so decided on the free hotel transport service to Patong at 1300hrs and return at 2000hrs. Would prefer if there was an earlier service to Patong say, at 1000hrs or 1100hrs. If you are looking for affordable and variety of halal food, Patong have abundant, Karon is almost impossible. Hotel restaurant (Baluchi) is ok, but opens from 1830hrs only.
Highlight of the day, everyday at the hotel: Breakfast. Staff are genuinely friendly.
One "silly" comment: There is a big translucent glass shade between the bathroom and the bedroom. I expect a sliding cover or something but there was none. Very well suited for couples on a romantic mood I supposed, but with kids in the room while the parents are showering? I know that some family openly accepts nudity, so that would be fine for them. We encourange modesty at home, so it was a problem for us.
Otherwise, its a very comfortable stay indeed.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff are SOOO friendly and helpful. I read reviews before departing and was wary. There was no need to be. Karon Beach is quieter than Patong, so it was great to stay here with the family. Horizon has a free shuttle service running to and from Karon and Patong beaches daily. My only criticism was that these need to be more frequent - perhaps hourly. It is a 20-minute drive. If you do not get the free bus, it costs AUD$12 each way Karon to Patong. The free breakfasts were awesome - especially the made-to-order omelettes. Having one room key was no problem - we just left key at reception so we could all access room whenever we wanted. The much-talked about 'hill' to hotel is no big deal. Hotel provides free tuk-tuk up and down hill for those who need it; otherwise walk it! Sure, the hotel could do with a renovation, but for a hotel in its price range it was clean, well serviced and provided all the facilities that a family would need.
The minimart at the hotel is a cheaper alternative to having to pay higher prices in hotel restaurants or pool bar. We used the laundry service located at bungalows just outside gates of hotel. Service was cheap and all clothes came back just fine. Plenty of massage outlets at the bottom of hill, as well as restaurants to choose from. GREAT PLACE.

This was our second stay at this...
This was our second stay at this resort and it makes me wonder why we ever stayed andywhere else on our other visits to Phuket. Consider a large room, kept tidy by attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast is served by fantastic staff who couldnt do enough for you and were lovely to our daughter. One staff member, Ake, remembered us from our previous visit two years before and he was such a great guy. We would look forward to him serving us drinks at the swim up bar as he was that nice. Even the distance to patong isnt a problem as they run a shuttle bus service that runs a few times a day. Besides, haggling with tuk-tuk drivers is brilliant. This place is great, do yourself a favor. Brilliant. They will even send a tuk- tuk down for you for free if you dont want to walk up the hill. Stay there!!!!

The one room key policy was a major problem and very frustrating.
The Club Rooms were nice except we couldn't work out why the DELXUE Club rooms were behind the standard club rooms looking absolutely NO view. The standard Club rooms all had views of the pool. In other words, don't bother upgrading to the deluxe Club Rooms. The standard clubs rooms are better!
The staff were rude and the restaurant was filthy.
They will charge you for lost or broken ANYTHING. THey told us that we'd broken or lost 2 glasses - whcih we hadb't - and then charged us THB400 for them to be replaced.
One couple were charged THB200 when their key broke!
