Kata Country House experience..
We were very pleased with our one week stay @ KCHK .... we had a small wooden villa. Very nice. One 'snag' the TV/elect would go out in the bad weather. Breakfast menu could have been more varied. Am over EGGS for a while. Some cereal/yoghurt would have been a nice change. Staff were extremely friendly/polite. Pool also should have had extended hours. Especially since we are on HOLIDAY. We think the POOL is a very important part of anyones holiday. 10am-7pm is not good! However on the whole we would certainly recommend you guys. Thanks for a lovely week! Fantastic Stay. Though one of the pools were being renovated and short outage of electricity added a little hiccup to our stay. Breakfast is modest and would have been better if be served hot.
Perfect location;away from the mayhem but not too far from everything 7/11 next door was a blessing.Lovely food served in the restaurants and the service is great.Very polite and friendly staff.Funny enough, a few metres away there is central area for clothes where all the vendors were Nepalis.How uncanny!!! Will definitely come back and hopefully the pool and pool bar will be up and running.

The hotel is lovely, set amidst greenery with beautiful bunglaows that lend a great ambience. A part of the hotel is under renovation and no restaurants were available but the staff were absolutely courteous. I would rate it one of the nicest properties in Kata area, actually much better than the larger commercial hotels in the vicinity. A tea/coffee maker in the room would have been of great value. The convenience store just outside the resort is a boon. It is situated at walking distance from the lovely beach. A great place for a holiday with family or loved ones.

I quite like the setting of the resort carefree and open space. Will recommend friends for staying. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. It will be most recommented for couple for a quiet and undisturbed stay. Only setback is the distance to the Kata beach not very near to the resort.

Our entire stay at Kata country house...
Our entire stay at Kata country house was fantastic, from the moment we arrived the staff were truly helpful and so friendly.
The room we stayed in was just enough the deluxe for my daughter and myself. It was cleaned daily as well as fresh linen.
Oh yeah given the climate you may need to bring or purchase from the nearby 7/11 a can of Mosquito spray as some of you may know particularly at night these little pests can be quite the 'pain in the bain' if you have tasty sweet blood, otherwise we had a fantastic stay, i'll definitely be back!

Very nice garden layout but pool not...
Very nice garden layout but pool not open for long (10am - 7pm).
The laundry was 28hours late which caused a problem.
Location was fair (about 1km from beach) but I wouldn't want to be further out.
The garden light directly outside my bedroom window was on all night (auto controlled so out when sun comes up)which made sleep a little difficult for a few nights.

I thought this was a great location...
I thought this was a great location and setting, especially for the cost! It was a short 10 minute walk to Kata Beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were nice, peaceful and quiet. The deluxe room I had overlooked the pool area and was a really great room. If I had to make any negative comments, it would be the shower in the bathroom was low pressure (for me) and the breakfast selection was limited to eggs, toast, meat item and fruit. However, those things did not make the experience bad in any way and were not an issue. Just information to pass along.
Overall, great experience and would recommend and stay here again.
