Great Stay and convineint
Had another wonderful stay. Great staff who are always willing to help and room always cleaned each day. Pool is beautiful and fantastic to be able to get into pool from room. Also great with friends in room next door as we could sit around pool together and then go to our own rooms

Very good hotel
Very nice hotel, with a friendly and helpful staff. We tried the two kinds of rooms they have. Both are nice. The older ones in a green garden with a pool are convenient with some shelves and drawers to put your things are very comfortable. The new ones with direct access to pool look more pretty but don't have that. This hotel is a good value for the price. Breakfasts are very OK. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the beach by foot, but we had no problem with that.

A very pleasant hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and modern, well kept and in beautiful surroundings. The food was hotel standard really, there was nothing wrong with it at all, the choices are fine but not exciting. I agree with other reviewers that say it is a fair walk to the beach but if you rent a motorcycle at a reasonable price from the hotel this is not a problem . It is located well with mountains surrounding it and a view of the big Buddha. The Kata town area is only a short walk and the beach not far from there. My wife and I enjoyed our stay.

It's just perfect!
The hotel is a perfect place for honeymoon goer or vacation. It's clean and really value for your money. Location wise, it is just 15 minutes walk from the beach. I am only a bit disappointed with the wading pool being a bit shallow, but overall it is a place that is value for money. In short, it's just perfect.

As Kata Lucky Villa is still only quite a new establishment, the rooms are still in stunning condition. They are spacious and look superb. The villas are surround by lovely gardens and the pool area is also splendid. The staff were very helpful and willing to please. It is only a quick six or seven minute walk to the main beach area and if you're too lazy then you can take their shuttle. We didn't have any problems walking the short distance. The hotel was so much quieter because it was away from the main streets. The only part that I found fault with was the breakfast service. It took them 25 minutes to make scrambled eggs and a pancake, and we were the only ones having breakfast at the time. So if you're in a rush then don't order from the hot food menu!

No doubt the hotel was quite far...
No doubt the hotel was quite far from Patong it was not difficult for us to hop into a tuk-tuk to get there. Karon Thai and Kamala beaches were not far from reach.The hotel's shuttle service hourly to Kata beach was very useful.
The rooms were very spacious and could easily accomodate a family of 4.Feeling of staying in a resort far away from the hustle and bustle of overcrowded Patong was a relief.
Breakfast packages should be improved with varieties to justify the amount paid.Inclusion of a small fitness centre would be cool.I totally disagree with my fellow Singaporean's poor commence about this hotel and glad that we decided to go ahead with Kata Lucky Villa.

We stayed in the place for 4 nights and find that we paid too much for this hotel. The breakfast is basic, bread, cereal, milk. Hot breakfast has limited choices. Room toiletries are basic, soap/shampoo only.
The location is isolated from beach, so it's good if you like a quiet place. However, it's quite a far walk out to the beach and other facilities.
The hotel likes to charge for all other services. eg
checkout extension chargable 100B/hr, transfer to beach after 7pm at 100B per trip, internet chargable by purchasing internet card at 100B for 70minutes.
I would rather stay at other nearby resorts/hotels charging lower costs and providing better facilities.

The Kata Lucky Villa was very nice, and the staff very very helpful and kind. Though I had no need for the facilities, they seemed to be easily available.
The only problems that I had were its distance from where I wanted to be, and the amount of traffic on the road when walking between the hotel and the beach.
