Our family of four spent a delightful three days at the Nam Pam Golden Island Cottages. The staff were wonderful, cottages excellent, views lovely and the food was good and reasonably priced. We took two superior cottages which greatly enhanced the experience because their lake views are much better than the standard cottages. Spend the extra money and take a superior cottage - it's worth it. Many worthwhile sights are only a short boat ride away. Sitting on the balcony at sunset was brilliant. Only downside is that the passing motor boats can get a bit noisy but for us this was a minor problem. The other GIC complex further up the lake may be quieter but we thought that you could probably see more of the lake activity from Nam Pan GIC.

| "Beautiful location, although on the water so you have to go anywhere by boat. Helpful staff, great atmosphere. Amenities are not a great deal for your money, but most of the profits go to social and development projects in Pa-o villages and towns." |
