| "Wanting a week away from the hussle of everyday city life we went to Club Himilaya with our 9 year old son and we certainly got away from it all. The place is really beautiful but there is very little to do except walk. The service is great but, despite being at the higher end of accommodation in Nepal, Club Himalaya does not escape the country's current problems. Power cuts were frequent but only during daylight hours. The central heating was not on during the day either which may suit the majority of guests but not us. The fire in the bar is lovely once it gets going. Rooms are clean and big enough for an extra child's bed without feeling crampt. The roof is the best place for miles to watch the sun come up and go down. Glad we stayed a week because it took 5 days for the clouds to clear and the mountains to reveal themselves. Overall this is a lovely hotel and we will return." |

| "I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, everyone was cooperative and extrememly helpful. Me and my companion room had an incredible view of the mountains and sunrise. We didn't even have to leave our room for the sunrise we just watched from the balcony. Next time I visit I will definetly come back during September - December time frame to really see a clear view of the mountains. I will definitely come visit again." |
