We had the deluxe rooms and they were perfect. From our balcony we had views of the fishtail mountain ranges. The hotel staff were extremely polite and ready to help with whatever you needed. The rooms are not posh but are very clean and nice. The hotel reminded me of the old Indian bungalow hotels and railway hotel chains that used to exist. Very near to the tourist shops as well. I would go back to this hotel everytime. Great! The food and breakfast buffet were decent and could be the only thing that should be improved a bit.

Beautifully maintained grounds to relax in and gape at Machupuchere." |

| "Very beautiful place. Quiet and charming. Away from all the noise, yet very near places of interest such as Lakeside, with all its restaurants and shops. Beautiful view over the lake and the mountains (provided the weather cooperates). Very friendly and helpful staff. Although it seems some bungalows have been renovated the whole place needs total refurbishing. Everything "smells" a bit old, especially the matrasses. We liked it so much that we extended our stay -online- and we actually got the voucher faster than the hotel was notified of our extension, which created a little problem of overbooking." |
