We are experienced travelers - both retired aircrew, with lots of hotel's behind us! This was our first experience and introductio to New Zealand and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and it's staff. The layout was very pleasing, rooms fine, comfortable and private, close to the airport but very peaceful for a good nights sleep, and the staff at all levels were very helpful and pleasant - yes no hesitation about staying there!

| "I was a bit nervous about the fact that I had to wait the last 3 days to confirm with the motel personnel that we were (my wife and me)actually booked to stay there. But of course it turned out as promised. The hotel was good quality and clean. Personnel very friendly and helpful if not for not being always able to understand one of the ladies at the desk.
Thank you. Yes if we ever go back to NZ north island we certainly would love to book the place through Asia rooms again. I don't know how to answer "recommendations". I am sure that anyone that has a need for a motel for a night or more at Centra would be more than happy to use Asia rooms for booking.

| "Centra Airport Hotel is well located close to Auckland International Airport and is very suitable for business and transit travellers. Regular half hourly shuttle service to the airport is provided (fee charged since January 1st 2006)
Good clean facilities with coffee/tea making facilities, ironing board, multi channel television and internet access available.
The only problem I found was a limited room service menu particularly when checking in late at night and lack of elevators - to upper floors. This can be a big problem for travellers with several bags and children in tow.
For travellers driving to the hotel - good access to car parks and vehicles without having to go via the main lobby/reception area.
Didn't use the dining room during this stay, hence no comment on dining facilites." |
