| "Room was clean and tidy a bit of a walk from reception.
Close to the airport which was exactly what we needed for an early flight. Would stay there again if i had early flight." |

| "The initial room we were provided smelled very moldy, and when we asked for another room, we were given an odd room with 3 beds and very old furnishings. The sheets were old and did not even feel really clean. The bed was not in good condition and we did not sleep well. The idea was to stay at a hotel near the airport because we were arriving late and would be driving early the next day, but this was not a convenience or a pleasant stay." |

| "I have stayed at the Airport Grand Chancellor several times (most recently, two weeks ago) as I often arrive in Auckland late-night and depart on early flights. As with many Chancellor hotels (I've stayed in five of them), decor and fit-out is dated. For under $100 (corporate rate), the average standard is sufficent. Service is generally good and the staff are friendly. If you are arriving late night and spending a few days in Auckland or surrounds, would recommend spending the extra few minutes and staying in a city/fringe hotel. Cab fare is a flat $25 and as previous reviewer noted, shuttle does stop at other hotels, so you may as well head to the city. For overnight stays, the property is acceptable and provided the rate is reasonable, I will stay again. One warning - if you stay on a frequent flyer rate, check your statement as they rarely credit you without prompting. This goes for Wellington Grand Chancellor as well." |
