| "From the moment I arrived I was given a very warm welcome by the friendly staff. As I was travelling on my own, the staff's willingness to help whatever the request was most appreciated.
I had the most fantastic view of one of Auckland's harbours from my room. The room itself was very stylish and tastefully decorated. Although I did not use the oven hob, the toaster, microwave and kettle came in very handy. As did the mini dishwasher. There was also a full sized hairdryer as opposed to the expected travel size.
The cleanliness of the room was upheld by the daily visits of the maid. And the staff always made the effort to provide a warm atmosphere in the area outside the bar by lighting candles. A nice touch.
The only slight negative point I have is the location of the hotel which means a very steep walk from the main shopping area of Queen Street. But the exercise did me good.
I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel." |
