Service was good, room clean and spacious, the bathroom was recently upgraded and very nice.
The only negative comment is the high cost of the food. For example, the breakfast brunch cost $28/pp. Somewhat high

| "We stayed at this hotel overnight. It is a new building, very clean, and in a good central position not far from the sky tower. It seemed most suitable for business people. There was a good breakfast available at a reasonable price, choice of cooked or continental. We found the continental the best value for money. The hotel was very nice but the staff at reception were less than helpful. No-one offered to help with our luggage, and it was 25 dollars for someone to park the car. We parked the car ourselves but had to pay a parking fee." |

| "Reception and concierge service good and friendly, a bit hectic when cruise party arrives and you are checking out.Car parking facility for your Hire car good, ticket entry can be tempremental.
Breakfast room and food ok but its organisation not too good.Room service and standard was good, the fabric of hotel getting a little tired but it is still good.
The taxi service linked to hotel is excellant and competative its cars are immaculate." |

| "On arrival at the hotel at about 1.00am the reception staff were very good and the lady knew that it was our 60th birthday celebrations. Our room was superb and the bed was enormous. When we pulled back the curtains and saw the view of the Auckland Tower it was absolutely fabulous especially with all the lights.
We had continental breakfast on the Club floor which was good although the air-con was far too cold and we and other guests had to ask for it to be turned down. However, one evening we went for drinks/snacks on the Club floor and there was a Japanese family with 2 children running around and had to ask for them to be quiet. We felt that the Club room was not suitable for children as it is somewhere where you should be able to relax, read the paper and look at the view.
One evening we had Irish coffee in the Atrium Bar and we had to ask the waiter to make us another one as it was so bad - he even admitted that he did not know how to make it.
On another evening we had booked to have dinner in the Pacific restaurant but it was so cold that we decided against it.
Although we enjoyed stay, we definitely felt that it was a hotel for groups as they were everywhere and at times we could not get across the reception area. We would suggest that groups should be put in a special room so as not to crowd the ground floor area. " |
