Would I stay at this location
again:

No way!
I and my boyfriend supposed to get our room at 2 pm which was the check-in time but we had to wait for almost an hour to get our room. The attitude of the receptionists were poor and lack of smile. They couldn't tell us how long we had to wait. I was so disappointed. This is not what I expected from a 4-star hotel.

"we stayed at the skycity on the 2nd of july for one nite,and thought the atmosphere was great,the room size was very comfortable,and the king size bed was amazing..the staff were very friendly and helpful too.. we took a trip up to the top of the tower,which has some amazing views.. we ended up staying another night on the 8th of july before heading back home on the sunshine coast queensland aus. 10/10 "

"I have already recommended your Hotel to so many people. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I might add, I also spent $10 and got back $700, a bonus. If it were a little cheaper would be perfect."

"I FOUND SKY CITY OFFERED EVERY THING I REQUIRED FOR A WEEKEND TRIP TO AUCKLAND - GREAT LOCATION - VERY COMFORTABLE AND SPACIOUS ROOMS - A SELECTION OF FINE EATING VENUES - ENTERTAINMENT PLUS - NOT ONLY THE CASINO BUT THE INHOUSE BANDS -COURTEUS AND EFFICIENT STAFF MADE FOR A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY."

"We chose Skycity for its central location and ease of access to transport links around the city and to the airport. Unfortunately our 2 night stay was marred by the failure of staff to deal with a simple problem with a bathroom for 14 hours from reporting the fault on our arrival at 1 am in the morning. Arriving at this late hour after a long flight our first impressions were not (and this was before the fault with the room) helped by the totally indifferent attitude of the reception staff on arrival. The hotel is also not equipped to provide assistance for elderly guests who might have difficulty walking and for whom the use of a wheelchair would be welcomed. The hotel has generous proportioned rooms but they are in need of refurbishment as they are now looking very dated. The buffet breakfast was good value."
