Upon arrival check-in was very simple, the staff were polite and efficient. The rooms were clean and furnished to a good standard. It was worthwhie including breakfast in the deal, the food was well presented and of a good standard. The hotel was situated just off the town centre within walking distance of all attractions.. The only downside was that during our stay the swimming pool was not available. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone...

| "We chose Skycity for its central location and ease of access to transport links around the city and to the airport. Unfortunately our 2 night stay was marred by the failure of staff to deal with a simple problem with a bathroom for 14 hours from reporting the fault on our arrival at 1 am in the morning. Arriving at this late hour after a long flight our first impressions were not (and this was before the fault with the room) helped by the totally indifferent attitude of the reception staff on arrival. The hotel is also not equipped to provide assistance for elderly guests who might have difficulty walking and for whom the use of a wheelchair would be welcomed. The hotel has generous proportioned rooms but they are in need of refurbishment as they are now looking very dated. The buffet breakfast was good value." |
