Enjoyed our stay very much. The suites are ideally located with wonderful views of the harbour. Near to good restaurants although in a quiet area. Enjoy it.

| "Hi - we had a booking at the hotel - we booked it more than 5 months in advance as it was in the location we wanted. However, we arrived at 10am (early), left our luggage and waited for a call to advise that our room was ready - however we got a call to say we had been "bumped" - no room for us - how could this be so! They said they had tried to contac us and Asiarooms to advise this, however we were never contacted. We arrived at 10am and they said there were no rooms - how could this be so??? We beleive it was an error of the Sebel NOT Asiarooms as the Sebel had our booking - but no room. We were only in Auckland for a day and this wasted very valuable time having to transfer to another hotel in a location that we did not want to be in!! I will not stay at Sebel, nor would I recommend anyone else do the same as they do not honour their bookings." |
