| "The porter was not so helpful or friendly. Didn't not bother to help with luggage unless asked. Car park entrance to the hotel is not well situated, too many steps to up and down to get to the reception from the car park." |

| "A very convenient, centrally-located hotel with a pleasant outlook overlooking a park. We enjoyed the spacious en-suite bedroom with fast connecting lifts to reception.The staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. Perhaps the bar area could do with a little more atmosphere.Otherwise, an excellent stay." |

| "We stayed at a number of hotels in New Zealand, and though not the most expensive, I would say this was the best overall. Impressed that my request for a room on a high floor was met." |

| "Hotel in good situation.
Reception very helpful.
Carpark access was difficult but good valet service alleviated this.
Room facillities good.
Negative point was the Dining Room the service was as bad as you could get the reason being lack of staff." |

| "Even though the location, services and facility were excellent, it was a little too pricey for us. The tour pickup was from here and very convenient for us. They also were very accommodating for us on holding our luggage in the courtesy room until our land tour returned." |
