"Lovely room and brilliant location-very good facilities- including Global Gossip-hurrah- just one disappointed that room was not serviced until 2pm - hoped to have relaxed lunch there after exhausting eco walk- but noisy cleaning going on next door and cleaners due into our room any time. Would definitely go there again, though, and recommend to others."

"Room and location very good. Limited service and breakfast only mediocre. Didn't use restaurant but other possibilities available close by. "

"Breakfast facility was more geared towards the backpacking/student element: it was akin to an outward bound provision. However there was an option to take breakfast in room, but as we did not we cannot comment on this option. A better option would be to self cater for breakfast."

"The Hotel was adequate. Room size was good but, overall, the accommodation was spoiled by a dated bathroom. Our stay was only for a single night so we do not feel able to comment further on other aspects of the Hotel"

"A lot of the rooms did not have the views shown on the web site. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Appears to have become more orientated towards backbacker accommodation."

"The reception area was filled with backpackers and requests for dormitory accommodation. Our trepidation was completely dispelled when we entered our very well appointed room in a delightful setting. We considered the room preferable to many of our 5* hotel rooms."
